Abstract

Pola asuh orangtua menjadi sebuah harapan untuk bisa memberikan kontribusi positif dalam perkembangan anak, sejalan dengan penerapan pola asuh yang baik maka akan memberikan pengaruh yang baik pula terhadap gaya hidup anak. Namun, hal ini tidak berlaku bagi semua keluarga, realita anak remaja saat ini sudah tergerus oleh jaman yang membentuk gaya hidup tinggi. Seorang remaja terutama anak sekolah tidak hanya terpengaruh dari keluarga saja, melainkan bisa dari teman sebaya, sekolah dan lingkungan luar lainnya, sehingga tidak menutup kemungkinan seorang remaja memiliki gaya hidup yang sesuai dengan lingkungan tempat dimana ia sering bergaul. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat seberapa besar pengaruh yang diberikan pola asuh terhadap gaya hidup seorang siswa SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI, dimana sekolah ini merupakan sekolah percontohan di bawah naungan Kampus UPI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode deskriptif melalui angket sebagai data primer dan wawancara sebagai penguatan. Teknik dalam pengolahan data menggunakan teknik skoring skala pengukuran WMS (Weighted Means Score). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh orang tua sudah baik karena penerapan pola asuh otoriter, demokratis dan permisif sudah berjalan beriringan disesuaikan porsi penerapannya, gaya hidup siswa SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI masuk dalam kategori wajar yang sesuai dengan norma yang berlaku karena siswa tidak menonjolkan diri dalam mengikuti perkembangan gaya hidup dan pengaruh yang diberikan pola asuh orang tua terhadap gaya hidup sebesar 20,5%, selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. A teenager especially school children from families affected not only alone, but can be from peers, school and other external environment, so do not rule out a teenage lifestyles in accordance with the environment where he often hangs out. The purpose of this study is to see how much impact that the parenting to the lifestyle of a student high school Laboratorium Percontohan UPI, where this school is a pilot school under the auspices of Campus UPI. This study uses a quantitative approach descriptive methods as primary data through questionnaires and interviews as reinforcement. Techniques in data processing using a scoring scale of measurement techniques WMS (Weighted Means Score). The results showed that parents' parenting is good for the application of authoritarian parenting, democratic and permissive already go hand in hand adjustable portion of its application, the lifestyle of students high school Laboratorium Percontohan UPI into the category of fair accordance with the norms that apply for student self-effacing in following development of lifestyle and influence given to the parents' parenting lifestyle by 20.5%, the rest is influenced by other factors.
