Abstract

Bangunan heritage memiliki karakter dan penanda tersendiri berdasarkan tahun pembuatannya. Salah satu seniman otodidak perempuan Indonesia, Moel Soenarko, menjadikan heritage sebagai tema dalam lukisannya dan menghubungkan kenangan dirinya pada objek heritage sebagai ide berkarya. Banyaknya apresiator yang tertarik pada karya-karya beliau mendorong penulis untuk memperkaya, memperluas, dan mengkaji lebih dalam karya lukis bertema heritage Moel Soenarko. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana ide kreatif berkarya dalam berkarya lukis dan visual estetik lukisan Moel Soenarko yang bertema heritage. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang didapatkan melalui observasi, wawancara secara langsung dengan Moel Soenarko, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Heritage dilihat berdasarkan kenangan (intangible) pada ide berkarya dan secara visual (tangible) pada objek lukisannya. Ide kreatif yang dihasilkan oleh Moel berasal dari faktor internal dan eksternal, dengan melalui beberapa tahapan atau proses. Lukisan-lukisannya mayoritas memiliki karakter, terlihat dari penggunaan unsur garis dan adanya perspektif. Selain itu, warna-warna sederhana yang digunakan mampu memberikan kesan kuno dan menjadi ciri khas seorang Moel dalam melukis. Namun warna tersebut mengalami perubahan karena adanya eksperimen. Beliau juga selalu membagi tiga bidang bagian lukisan yang memiliki keterkaitan satu sama lainnya. Penempatan objek yang disusun dan diolah sedemikian rupa mampu menghasilkan komposisi yang kreatif, menarik, dan variatif, namun tetap mengandung asas-asas estetis.;--- Heritage building has its own character and markers based on the year of manufacture. One of the self-taught artist Indonesian woman, Moel Soenarko, choosing heritage as a theme in her paintings and connecting the memories herself on objects of heritage as a working idea. Many appreciators interested to her artworks, be a reason for writers to enrich, extend, and examine more deeply the painted works Moel Soenarko heritage. The problem of this research is how the idea of creative work in the work of painting and visual aesthetic Moel Soenarko themed painting heritage. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method with qualitative approach that is obtained through observation, interviews directly with Moel Soenarko, literature, and documentation. Heritage visits by memories (intangible) to the idea of working and visually (tangible) on the object of her paintings. Creative ideas generated by Moel comes from internal and external factors, with through several stages or processes. Her paintings majority had character, seen from the use of line elements and their perspectives. In addition, simple colors that is used to give the impression of an ancient and characteristic a Moel in painting. However, the color change for their experiment. She always divide three field painting sections that have relevance to each other. Object placement were compiled and processed in a way capable of producing the composition of creative, interesting, and varied, but still bears the aesthetic principles.
