Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran dapat membantu guru dalam proses belajar-mengajar untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran TIK di SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung. Secara umum, rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Computer Based Instruction Model Drills Challenger Game terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran TIK kelas VIII di SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung. Sedangkan secara khusus rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa domain kognitif dan psikomotor yang signifikan antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan Computer Based Instruction Model Drills Challenger Game dengan pembelajaran yang menggunakan media slide presentasi pada Mata Pelajaran TIK kelas VIII di SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu jenis tes objektif pilihan ganda dan tes praktik. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling. Simpulan umum dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh penggunaan Computer Based Instruction Model Drills Challenger Game terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran TIK kelas VIII di SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung. Sedangkan simpulan secara khusus dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa domain kognitif dan psikomotor yang signifikan antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan Computer Based Instruction Model Drills Challenger Game dengan pembelajaran yang menggunakan media slide presentasi pada Mata Pelajaran TIK kelas VIII di SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung. ;---The use of instructional media could help teachers in the process of teaching and learning to improve students’ learning achievement in ICT subject in SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung. Generally, the problem of the research was to find out whether there was an effect of the use of Computer Based Instruction Model Drills Challenger Game to the VIII grade students’ in SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung’s learning achievement in ICT subject. Furthermore, specifically, the problem of this research was whether there was a significant difference of VIII grade students in SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung’s learning achievement in the cognitive and psychomotor domain between those who learned using Computer Based Instruction Model Drills Challenger Game and those who learned using slide presentation in ICT subject. The method used in this research was Quasi Experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The instrument used in this research was objective test in the form of multiple choice and performance test. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The general conclusion of this research indicated that there was an effect of the use of Computer Based Instruction Model Drills Challenger Game to the VIII grade students in SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung’s learning achievement. Meanwhile, the conclusion of this research in particular indicated that there was a significant difference of the VIII grade students in SMP Kartika XIX-2 Kota Bandung’s learning achievement in the cognitive and psychomotor domain, between those who learned using Computer Based Instruction Model Drills Challenger Game and those who learned using slide presentation in ICT subject.
