Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan atas keresahan peneliti terhadap permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan yakni kurangnya kemampuan kreasi siswa dalam menciptakan karya seni tari. Indikator permasalahan yang dijumpai adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menciptakan gerak tari, serta rendahnya antusiasme dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana proses penerapan model role playing berbasis cerita untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kreasi siswa dan bagaimana hasil yang diperoleh dari penerapan model role playing berbasis cerita untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kreasi siswa. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai peningkatan kemampuan kreasi siswa dalam menciptakan karya seni tari dengan menggunakan model role playing berbasis cerita dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Meninjau permasalahan yang akan diteliti berkaitan dengan proses pembelajaran seni tari, maka peneliti memilih Pre-eksperimental design (nondesign) dengan bentuk One Shoot Case Study. Pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar menggunakan model role playing berbasis cerita sebagai alternatif mengembangkan kemampuan kreasi siswa terhadap mata pelajaran seni tari ini dapat dikatakan berhasil. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan pada nilai post-test dibandingkan dengan nilai treatment. Hasil penelitian pada saat post-test ini, dibuktikan dengan perhitungan uji t, dimana t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 63,2 dan t tabel 1,699 maka, 63,2> 1,699. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model role playing berbasis cerita cukup signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kreasi siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari di kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Kadungora ---; This research is written by the writer because the writer has dilemma toward the problem which is happened in the field. The problem is the lack of creation skill of the students in creating the art of dance. Indicator of this research is low of students’ skill in create the movement of the art of dance and a low of students’ enthusiasm of learning the art of dance. The research questions of this research are how is the process to apply role playing model based story to improve students’ creation skill and what the result from applying role play to improve students’ skill. The aim of this research is get data about improvement of students’ creation skill of create the art of dance by using role playing model based story in learning of the art of dance lesson. This research conducts pre- experimental research design with one shoot case study. The process of teaching and learning apply role playing model based story to improve students’ creation skill in the art of dance lesson is effective. It can be seen from there is improvement of the score of post-test than treatment. The improvement of this research is also showed by formula of t-test, where the t-test is bigger than the t table, the result of the t-test is 63,2 while t table is 1,699, it show that 63,2 > 1,699. So based on the explanation above can be concluded that applying role playing model basic story is significant. It means that applying role playing model based story is effective to improve students’ creation skill of blabla for the second grade students of elementary school at SMP NEGERI 2 KADUNGORA class A.
