Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi siswa yang merasa kesulitan untuk berbicara bahasa Arab. Kemampuan berbicara merupakan kemampuan yang sangat penting dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab, karena secara umum kemampuan berbicara bertujuan agar peserta didik mampu berkomunikasi lisan secara baik dan benar, Namun kenyataannya kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa di SMA Islam Al-Musyawarah Lembang masih rendah, padahal kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab sangat diperlukan. Maka dari itu peneli menggunakan metode langsung dalam memudahkan siswa belajar berbicara bahasa Arab. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasi eksperimental nonequivalent control group design dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, yakni penelitian yang dilakukan menekankan analisis pada data-data numeric (angka). Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini peneliti mengambil dua kelas, yaitu kelas X-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan Metode langsung dan kelas X-1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang tanpa menggunakan Metode langsung . Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan peningkatan nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol. Maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab yang menggunakan metode langsung dan yang tanpa menggunakan metode lansung terhadap keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab.;---- This research is motivated by the condition of students who find it difficult to speak Arabic. Speaking skills is an ability which is very important in the of Arabic,because speaking ability aims generally that the students can communicate verbally well.and true, but the reality the ability to speaks Arabic by students MTs Ar-Rohmah Sukajadi Bandung are still low, whereas the Arabic ability of speaking is indispensible.The researcher was using direct method to facilitating students to learn Arabic speaking. The method of research used in this study is a quasi experimental nonequivalent control class design. The researcher took two class as her sample. They were class X-1 and X-2. class X-2 was given experimental treatment using method paired storytelling and class X-1 was a control class that was not given treatment. The results of the data analysis performed in SMA Islam Al-Musyawarah Lembang Bandung, researchers found that the ability to speak Arabic students were less than expected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the increase in the average score of the experimental class is bigger than the control class. It means that there is an influence on paired storytelling method for arabic speaking student's arabic speaking skill.and therefore It indicated there was significant difference between the experimental class and control class.
