Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa menghadapi pernikahan dan hidup berkeluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan program hipotetik bimbingan dan konseling pranikah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu (1) profil kesiapan mahasiswa menghadapi pernikahan dan hidup berkeluarga secara umum berada pada kategori sedang dengan hasil capaian skor dari tertinggi ke yang terrendah, yaitu: aspek kesiapan diri dalam merawat dan mendidik anak, aspek kesiapan mengelola rumah tangga keluarga, aspek kesiapan diri dalam hidup berkeluarga, aspek kesiapan diri belajar hidup dengan pasangan nikah dan aspek kesiapan diri dalam memilih pasangan hidup; (2) rumusan program hipotetik bimbingan dan konseling pranikah untuk meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa menghadapi pernikahan dan hidup berkeluarga.;--- This research is caused by the important of student preparation toward marriage and having family. The aim of this research is to result hypothetic guidance and counseling before married. The methodologies of this research are descriptive and quantitative design by using purposive sampling. The result are (1) Generally, student profile toward marriage preparation and having family is in medium level with the highest to lowest scores are preparation aspect of keeping children, preparation aspect of house holding, preparation aspect of having family, preparation aspect of living with wife or husband, and preparation aspect of selecting wife or husband. (2) The hypothetic formulation of before marriage guidance and counseling program to improve student preparation toward marriage and having family.
