Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan dalam permainan tenis meja di sekolah dasar. Beberapa permasalahan yang terlihat antara lain: (1) minimnya fasilitas pembelajaran tenis meja di sekolah; (2) meja standar dinilai terlalu besar untuk siswa sekolah dasar (khususnya untuk daerah Jawa Barat), meski dibeberapa daerah sudah berkembang: (3) kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar permainan tenis meja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pre-eksperimental design dengan model one group pre-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 35 orang yang merupakan kelas 5 sekolah dasar yang diambil dengan teknik sampling sampel jenuh. Sebelum diberikan perlakukan, sampel diambil data dengan: (1) Skala motivasi yang dikembangkan oleh Marten dan Weiber, (2) tes kemampuan ketepatan forehand dan backhand drive yang dikembangkan oleh pada tes awal dan akhir. Kesimpulan: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan mini-pong terhadap motivasi belajar tenis meja; (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan mini-pong terhadap ketepatan drive. ;---This research comes from problems in table tennis in primary schools. Some of the problems seen among others: (1) lack of table tennis facilities; (2) standar table of table tennis is too big for elementary school students (especially for West Java area), although some areas already developed; (3) lack of motivation to lear table tennis. Method: the method of this study is quasi experiment use pre-experimental design with pretest and posttest design. Participants were 35 elementary school students and they were student in grade 5 of primary school. Within this study all sample were population chosen with using saturated sample technique. Before getting the treatment, all participants did a basic skill test of drive use accuracy test of forehand and backhand drive and motivation test use motivation scale has develoved by Marten and Weiber on pretest and postest. Conclution; (1) there are mini-pong effect on motivation to learn table (2) there are mini-pong effect on accuracy of drive.
