Abstract

Intensitas curah hujan mempengaruhi run-out dan kecepatan longsor. Semakin tinggi intensitas curah hujan maka semakin rendah run-out hingga konstan pada nilai tertentu. ; A parametic study on the impact of rainfall intensity to landslide run-out and velocity has been employed on potential landslide slope in West Bandung Regional. The slope was characterized by soil technical test. The result showed that Region-1 has slope about 68o and Region to has slope about 79o. The characterictic of slip area soil Region-1 was categorized as silty-clayey while the Region-2 was considered as clayey. Both of the slip area soil has the higher density rather than soil erosian material which is include as silty. The rainfall intensity descreased safety factor value until to be constan in a certain point in which it indicated the ability of soil to bind water. The ability of binding water and its velocity of Region-1 is greater than the Region-2. Therefore, Region-1 will be more saturated easier since infiltration of water. The binding water ability of Region-1 was at 10 mm/hours rainfall intensity and Region-2 was at 30 mm/hours rainfall intensity. The safety factor value of Region-1 was constantly on 0,698 with 10 mm/hours intensity and Region-2 was constantly on 0,692 with 30/hours intensity. The rainfall intensity effected landslide run-out and velocity. It was found that in terms of rainfall intensity, the higher rainfall intensity the lower landslide run-out until reach a certain constant point. The Region-1 has maximum landslide run-out about 1,454 m and minimum landslide run-out about 1,364 m. While the Region-2 has maximum landslide run-out about 3,175 m and minimum landslide run-out about 1,620 m. While in the light of landslide velocity, The higher rainfall intensity the lower landslide velocity until constant in certain point. The Region-1 has maximum landslide velocity about 2,082 m/s and minimum landslide velocity about 1,112 m/s on 10 mm/hours rainfall intensity. While the Region-2 has maximum landslide velocity about 5,311 m/s and minimum landslide velocity about 3,983 m/s in 30 mm/hours in rainfall intensity. The difference of landslide run-out and velocity rank among Region-1 and Region-2 were caused by different of slope and friction angle slope.
