    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa SMP kelas VII pada topik interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan, terfokus pada materi pemanasan global. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu weak experiment dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test and post-tes design. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kemampuan literasi sains siswa SMP kelas VII. Sampel yang diambil yaitu kemampuan literasi siswa SMP kelas VII pada kelas eksperimen secara cluster random sampling. Kemampuan literasi sains yang diukur dalam penelitian ini dibatasi hanya pada aspek kompetensi ilmiah. Rata-rata N-gain tes multiple choice adalah 0,26, artinya peningkatan yang terjadi termasuk pada kategori “rendah”, sedangkan keterlaksanaan sintaks model pembelajaran berbasis proyek termasuk ke dalam kategori “baik” (82,16%), dan hasil pengolahan angket respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran berbasis proyek didapatkan rata-rata 77,31% siswa memberikan respon dalam kategori “baik”. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis parametrik menggunakan one sample t test dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata nilai kemampuan literasi sains siswa setelah diterapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi pemanasan global berbeda secara nyata dari nilai KKM (75).;--- This study aimed to reveal the effect on implementation of project-based learning model towards scientific literacy ability of junior high school students grade VII in interaction of living things with the environment topic, focused on global warming material. The method used weak experiment with the design of the study one group pre-test and post-test design. The population used in this study are all the literacy skills of junior high school science students of class VII. The samples obtained from science literacy ability of junior high school students grade VII in the literacy skills junior high school students of class VII in the experimental class by cluster random sampling. The ability of science literacy measured in this study is limited to the aspect of the competence of science. The average of N-gain multiple choice test is 0,26, this score means that the improvement occurred included in the category of "low", whereas the performance of project-based learning model syntax belongs to the category of "good" (82,16%), and the results of the processing of students questionnaires responses towards project-based learning model obtained the average 77.31% of students responded in the category of "good". Based on the results of parametric hypothesis test using the one sample t test concluded that there is the average value of ability of science literacy students after applying project-based learning in global warming material is significantly different than the average value of KKM (75).
