Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh sosial ekonomi terhadap literasi keuangan orang tua siswa. Selain itu juga literasi keuangan orang tua siswa dianalisis dengan jenis variabel kontrol yaitu jenis pekerjaan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik two stage cluster random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua siswa kelas XII SMK ICB Cinta Niaga dan SMK ICB Cinta Wisata Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 277 orang tua siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanatori dengan mengunakan teknik analisis data regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitan ini menunjukkan bahawa literasi keuangan, tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan berada pada posisi tingkat sedang. Tingkat pendidikan dan tingkat pendapatan berpengaruh positif terhadap literasi keuangan. Tetapi berdasarkan jenis pekerjaan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan terhadap literasi keuangan. Berdasarkan jenis pekerjaan apapun literasi keuangan sama berada posisi sedang. Kata Kunci: Tingkat Pendidikan, Tingkat Pendapatan, Literasi Keuangan, Jenis Pekerjaan This study aimed to determine the influence of socioeconomic towards financial literacy of parents. In addition, the financial literacy of parents of students was analyzed by type of control variables that kind of work. The sampling technique used is the technique of two stage cluster random sampling. The samples in this study are the 277 parents of students of class XII SMK ICB Cinta Niaga and SMK ICB Cinta Wisata Bandung. The research used explanatory survey method by data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. These results indicated that financial literacy, education level, income level were at the medium level. Level of education and income level had positive effect on financial literacy. But based on the type of work there was no significant difference on financial literacy. Then the type of financial literacy at every job was being in medium position also.
