Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya membentuk perilaku dan pemahaman peserta didik dalam pembelajaran dengan mengajak peserta didik ke sumber belajar langsung. Hutan mangrove salah satunya yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui 1). Perbedaan tes pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. 2). Perbedaan tingkat kepedulian lingkungan pada kelas kedua kelas dan 3). mengetahui hubungan antara pemahaman konsep dan kepedulian lingkungan pada kedua kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Indramayu bulan April 2016. Subjek yang diteliti kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 2. Instrumen yang digunakan hasil pretest dan posttest pemahaman konsep dan angket kepedulian lingkungan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode statistik uji “t” (uji beda), untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian dilakukan konsultasi pada tabel distribusi “t” pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Dan uji regresi untuk mengetahui hubungan kedua variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil thitung = 4,05 > ttabel = 1,66. Ha diterima berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil tes pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen dan kelas. Tingkat kepedulian lingkungan antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dengan selisih perbedaan 1,8% dan terdapat hubungan antara pemahaman konsep dan kepedulian lingkungan dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 20,4% pada kelas eksperimen dan 8,8% pada kelas kontrol. Implikasi penelitian ini berkontribusi sebagai sumber pembelajaran langsung dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan yang kontekstual dan mengajak peserta didik untuk belajar langsung kelapangan.;---The background of this study is the importance of establishing and understanding the behavior of learners in the learning invites students to learning resources directly. Mangrove forests one of which can be used as a learning resource . The purpose of this study was to determine differences in test understanding of the concept of class experiments that utilize mangrove forests as a source of learning and classroom dick who use visual media as a learning resource in the control class. To determine differences in the level of environmental awareness in the experimental class with a grade control. And to determine the relationship between the understanding of concepts and environmental awareness in the experimental class and control class. In this study, the method used is quasi-experimental. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Indramayu in April 2016. The research subject students of class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Indramayu. The instrument used was the result of tests pretest and posttest and questionnaires understanding of the concept of environmental concern. Data were analyzed using statistical methods 't' test (different test), to test the hypothesis of the research carried out consultations on a distribution table "t" at the 5% significance level and regression test to know the relationship between the understanding of concepts and environmental awareness variabel. The results showed that there are differences in understanding of the concept test experimental class and control class. By hypothesis data using statistical t-test result t = 4.05 > table = 1.66. Then Ho rejected and Ha accepted which means that there are differences in the test results of the experimental class understanding of concepts that utilize mangrove forests as a source of learning and a control class that uses visual media. There are differences in the level of environmental awareness among experimental class control class by a margin of 1.8% difference, and also there is a relationship between the understanding of concepts and environmental awareness with a correlation value of 20,4% in the experimental group and 8,8% in the control class.
