Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas siswa kelas V dalam proses pembelajaran di salah satu Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Katapang Kabupaten Bandung yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya efikasi diri siswa. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara kepada beberapa siswa diketahui bahwa banyak siswa merasa takut salah atau malu ketika diberi kesempatan untuk menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh guru. Selain itu, guru jarang memberikan penguatan kepada siswa yang telah berani menjawab pertanyaan, maupun telah melaksanakan tugasnya dengan baik. Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan proses pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan model TANDUR dan peningkatan efikasi diri siswa setelah menerapkan model TANDUR. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang diadaptasi dari model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari satu kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan non-tes. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi efikasi diri pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, skala efikasi diri, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan hasil lembar observasi efikasi diri, skala efikasi diri, dan catatan lapangan, terjadi perkembangan proses pembelajaran matematika dan peningkatan efikasi diri siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model TANDUR dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa sekolah dasar;--- This research was motivated by the low activity of fifth grade student in the learning process in a state elementary school in Bandung District, Katapang Sub District which caused by low student’s self-efficacy. Based on observations and interviews to some students, noted that many students was feeling afraid or embarrassed when they were gave opportunity to answer the questions given by teacher. Besides teacher are rarely give a feedback to student neither who have the courage to answer the question, nor have carried out their duties properly. This research generally aims to find out how the development of the mathematics learning process by applying TANDUR models and improving student’s self-efficacy after applying TANDUR models. The methodology of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was adapted from the Kemmis & Mc Taggart model and conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of one meeting. Data collection techniques were used that test and non-test. The instruments used are self-efficacy observation sheet during the learning process, self-efficacy scale and field notes, there’s a development in mathematics learning process and improvement student’s self-efficacy in each cycle. Based on the research that has been conducted can be concluded that the application of the TANDUR model in mathematics learning process can improve students self-efficacy in elementary school.
