Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi karena semakin berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam pendidikan sehingga dibutuhkan adanya guru yang profesional. Maka sebagai upaya untuk mengembangkan profesionalisme guru, program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) menjadi program yang harus dilalui mahasiswa setelah pendidikan sarjana. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat mahasiswa program studi S1 PGPAUD FIP UPI angkatan 2012 s/d 2015 terhadap program PPG yang juga ditelaah berdasarkan minatnya terhadap upaya pengembangan profesionalisme guru, pelaksanaan program PPG, danmengikuti program PPG. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 182 orang. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 125 orang. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket tertutup skala Likert. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pada umumnya minat mahasiswa program studi S1 PGPAUD FIP UPI angkatan 2012 s/d 2015terhadap program PPG tergolong pada kategori sedang yaitu sebesar 65,6%. Lalu berdasarkan minatnya terhadap upaya pengembangan profesionalisme guru ditemukan adanya kesamaan presentase pada kategori minat tinggi dan sedang yaitu masing-masing sebesar 46,4%, terhadap pelaksanaan program PPG tergolong pada kategori sedang yaitu sebesar 60,80%, dan untuk mengikuti program PPG tergolong pada kategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 85,6 %. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah menambah informasi dan wawasan pada mahasiswa mengenai PPG, menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi pemerintah dan UPI sebagai LPTK untuk menyelenggarakan program PPG bagi mahasiswa PGPAUD;--- The background of this research because the development of science and technology in education so that it takes their professional teachers. So in an effort to develop the professionalism of teachers, Professional Teacher Education program (PTE) into a program that should be passed after undergraduate students. Therefore, this study aims to determine student interest in courses S1 PGPAUD FIP UPI forces 2012 until 2015 to PTE program is also assessed based on his interest in the efforts of teacher professional development, program implementation PTE and attend the PTE program. The method used is descriptive survey method with quantitative approach. The population in this study which amounted to 182 people. Determination of the sample using proportionate stratified random sampling technique obtained a sample of 125 people. The research instrument uses closed questionnaire Likert scale. The results of this study are in general student interest in courses S1 PGPAUD FIP UPI 2012 until 2015 to PTE programs classified in the category that is equal to 65.6%. Then based on his interest in the efforts to develop the professionalism of teachers found their similarity percentage in the high and moderate interest categories, respectively by 46.4%, against the implementation of the program PPG classified in the category that is equal to 60.80%, and for attend the program belong to PTE category higher at 85.6%. The implication of this study is to add information and insight to students about PTE, into consideration for the government and UPI as LPTK to organize PTEprograms for students PGPAUD.
