Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya kemampuan membaca dini anak kelompok B di TK Islam Waladun Sholih pada kemampuan mengenal huruf dan membaca kata, dikarenakan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan hanya metode klasikal tanpa melibatkan keaktifan anak secara langsung. Dengan demikian diperlukan suatu rangsangan pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang perkembangan kemampuan membaca dini. Salah satunya melalui penggunaan media Celemek Multiguna (Cemuna). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perubahan kemampuan membaca dini melalui penggunaan media Celemek Multiguna (Cemuna). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga siklus dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua tindakan. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B TK Islam Waladun Sholih yang berjumlah 15 orang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kemampuan membaca dini pada prasiklus, anak pada kategori kurang (K) sebanyak 9 anak (60%), kategori cukup (C) 4 anak (27%), dan kategori baik (B) 2 anak (13%). Akhir siklus 1 anak pada kategori kurang (K) sebanyak 1 anak (7%), kategori cukup (C) 9 anak (60%), dan kategori baik (B) 5 anak (33%). Akhir siklus 2 anak pada kategori kurang (K) menjadi tidak ada (0%), kategori cukup (C) 6 anak (40%), dan kategori baik (B) 9 anak (60%). Dan pada akhir siklus 3 mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu pada kategori kurang (K) tetap tidak ada (0%), kategori cukup (C) 3 anak (20%), dan pada kategori baik (B) sebanyak 12 anak (80%). Berdasarkan hasil temuan diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media celemek multiguna (Cemuna) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dini di TK Islam Waladun Sholih. --- The research was distributed by the still low level of early reading skills children Group B in Waladun Sholih Islamic Kindergarden on the ability recognize letters and read words, because the learning methods used only classical method without involving the liveliness of the child directly. Thus required a stimulation of learning that can support the development of early reading skills. One of them is through the use of medium Multipurpose Apron (Cemuna). The purpose of this research is to know the changes of early reading skills through the use of medium Multipurpose Apron (Cemuna). The methods used in this study is classroom research action. This research was conducted through three cycles with each cycle consisting of two actions. The subject of reasearch is the Group B Waladun Sholih Islamic Kindergarden that add up to 15 people. Result of the study satated that early reading skills in prasiklus, children in category of less (K) as many as nine children (60%), the category is quite (C) 4 children (27%), and the category either (B) 2 children (13%). End of cycle 1 child less category (K) as much as 1 child (7%), the category is quite (C) nine children (60%), and the category either (B) 5 children (33%). The end of cycle 2 children in less category (K) be no (0%), the category is quite (C) 6 children (40%), and the category either (B) nine children (60%). And at the end of the cycle 3 experienced a significant increase in the category of less (K) still no (0%), sufficient (C) category 3 children (20%), and on the category either (B) as many as 12 children (80%). Based on the findings above, it can be concluded that the use of medium multipurpose apron (Cemuna) can improve early reading skills in Waladun Sholih Islamic Kindergarden.
