Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi mengenai pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek tentang pencemaran dalam meningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan pemecahan masalah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah weak experiment dengan desain penelitian The One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas X- IPA salah satu Madrasah Aliyah di Kabupaten Sumedang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan instrument tes yang terdiri dari tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dilengkapi dengan lembar observasi, angket, dan wawancara untuk menggali respon guru dan siswa mengenai penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan kategori sedang. Peningkatan paling tinggi pada aspek kemampuan berpikir rinci (elaboration) sedangkan yang paling rendah pada kemampuan berpikir luwes (flexibility). Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan kategori tinggi. Peningkatan paling tinggi pada aspek kemampuan merencanakan penyelesaian masalah sedangkan yang paling rendah pada kemampuan melakukan pengecekan kembali. Respon guru dan siswa secara umum positif terhadap penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek.;--- The aim of study explored the information about the effect of project-based learning about organic waste treatement in improved the creative thinking and problem solving ability. The method used in this research is weak experiment with The One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of the research was student of X- IPA class one of Madrasah Aliyah in Sumedang. The data collection got with the test instrument consist of creative thinking and problem solving ability test equipped with observations sheet, questionnaires and interviews to explored the responses of teachers and students regarding the implementation of project-based learning. Based on the results of data analysis concluded that creative thinking ability of the students have increased after implementation of project-based learning in the medium category. The highest increased on elaboration while the lowest on flexibility aspect. Problem solving ability of the students have increased after implementation of project-based learning in the high category. The highest increased in the capability to planed the problem solving while the lowest on capability to check back. The response of teachers and students were generally positive towards the implementation of project-based learning.
