Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Tari Ceta Gejul di Dapur Seni Fitria Kota Cimahi”. Tari Ceta Gejul ini merupakan tari kreasi baru yang terinspirasi dari gaya kehidupan pergaulan bebas dikalangan remaja masa kini, tari Ceta Gejul ini lahir dari pemikiran kedua koreografer yaitu Sudrajat dan Nanu Munajar Dahlan pada tahun 2010. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian mengenai bagaimana koreografi, rias dan busana tarian tersebut, melalui pendekatan etnokoreologi sebagai landasan analisisnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tari Ceta Gejul ini dipandang dari aspek jenis tari berdasarkan koreografinya tergolong ke dalam tari berpasangan, sedangkan dari aspek desain tari lebih cenderung menggunakan desain kelompok unison (rampak). Bentuk-bentuk gerak yang ada, dihasilkan dari proses stilisasi dan distorsi namun kecenderungannya lebih kepada gerak-gerak wantah (natural). Ragam gerak tersebut masuk dalam empat kategori komposisi, yaitu diantaranya kategori locomotion, gesture, pure movement dan botton signal. Rias dalam tari Ceta Gejul ini menggunakan rias aksen atau rias corrective, sementara itu untuk busana yang dikenakan dianalisis berdasarkan tujuan dan fungsinya tergolong ke dalam desain busana tari rakyat dan dianalisis dari warna busananya untuk perempuan tergolong pada warna primer, dan busana laki – laki tergolong pada warna yang netral. --- This study entitled "Ceta Gejul Dance in Dapur Seni Fitria Cimahi". Ceta Gejul dance is a new dance creation inspired by the free life style among teens nowadays, Ceta Gejul dance was born from the two choreographers; Sudrajat and Nanu Munajar Dahlans’ idea in 2010.This study aimed to answer the research problem on how the choreography, makeup and the dancing costume of the dance, through etnocoreology approach as the basis for the analysis. The study employed a descriptive analysis using qualitative approach. The data were obtained using several techniques, including observation, interview, documentation, and literature.The findings revealed that Ceta Gejul dance viewed from the aspect of dance based on the type of the choreography is belong to the dance in pairs, while from the design of the dance aspect is more likely using group unison design (rampak). The forms of the existing movement, resulted from the process of stylization and distortion but the tendency is more to the Wantah movement (natural). The movement mode is belong to four composition categories, including the category of locomotion, gesture, pure movement, and botton signal. Makeup in Ceta Gejul dance is using accent or corrective makeup, while for the costume analyzed based on the objectives and functions are belong to the folk dance costume design and analyzed from the costume color for women is belong to the primary colors, and for men is belong to the neutral color.
