    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi tumbuhan biji melalui pembelajaran analisis fenetik dan praktikum berbasis verifikasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa SMA Negeri di Bandung sebanyak dua kelas, kelas yang menerapkan pembelajaran fenetik dan kelas verifikasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasy eksperimental. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposif. Perbedaan keterampilan proses sains ini ditinjau dari hasil tes sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran diberikan dan dilihat peningkatannya menggunakan N-gain, serta kemunculan setiap aspek yang dilakukan siswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran yang dijaring menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil tes dibandingkan dengan melakukan uji statistik menggunakan software program SPSS statistic 16. Setelah pembelajaran, siswa diberikan angket untuk mengetahui tanggapannya terhadap masing-masing pembelajaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan proses sains pada kelas fenetik dan verifikasi, dengan peningkatan termasuk kategori sedang pada keduanya. Perolehan kemunculan keterampilan proses sains yang dilakukan siswa pada kelas fenetik (56,75%) siswa, pada kelas verifikasi (44,5%) siswa. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan analisis fenetik ataupun verifikasi pada materi tumbuhan biji mendapatkan respon positif karena dirasa mampu meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Adanya perubahan keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui kedua pembelajaran ini, diharapkan kedua pembelajaran dapat menjadi salah satu pilihan alternatif yang dapat mengoptimalkan keterampilan proses sains siswa.;---The aim of this study is to analyze the difference of students’ science process skills on the seed plants subject with phenetic and practice based on verification. This research conducted to senior high school student in Bandung. This sample take two classes, a class apply phenetic learning and verification class. A method of this research is quasi experimental. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The difference of science process skill shown by the result of the test before and after learning is given, its improvement shown by N-gain, and the emergence of every aspect on the learning activities that were collected using observation sheet. The result of test compared by statistic test using SPSS Statistic 16 software. After learning activities, students are given the questionnaire to known their response to every learning. The result of research proved there is significant differences of science process skills between phenetic class and verification class, with middle increasing category on both. Acquisition emergence of students’ science process skills in phenetic class are 56.75% of students, the class verification are 44.5% of students. The questionnaire results showed that the use of phenetic analysis and verification of seed plant subject shown a positive response because it is able to improve students' science process skills. The change of science process skills of students through both learnings, can be used to expect that one of the learning method can be the alternative option to optimize the science process skills of students.
