Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa. Metode penelitian berupa kuasi eksperimen dengan desain ”pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design”. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di salah satu Universitas Negeri di kota Bandung yang melibatkan mahasiswa program studi Kimia, yang terdiri dari 18 orang mahasiswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 19 orang mahasiswa pada kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa 5 butir soal uraian, lembar kerja mahasiswa, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian dari uji perbedaan rerata pada keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing pada perkuliahan praktikum analisa protein dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa secara signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan kategori tinggi. Lima indikator tergolong kategori tinggi (mengelompokkan, meramalkan, berhipotesis, merencanakan percobaan, dan berkomunikasi) dengan nilai N<gain> berturut-turut sebesar 0,71; 1,00; 0,71; 0,78; dan 0,71. Kategori sedang dimiliki oleh tiga indikator (mengamati, menafsirkan, menerapkan konsep) dengan nilai N<gain> 0,040; 0,69; dan 0,58. Pada keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing pada perkuliahan praktikum analisa protein dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa pada indikator keluwesan dan kelancaran. Dilihat dari perbandingan masing-masing indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif untuk indikator kelancaran termasuk kategori tinggi dengan nilai N<gain> sebesar 1,00. Kategori sedang untuk indikator keluwesan dan kejelasan dengan nilai N<gain> berturut-turut sebesar 0,70 dan 0,68. ;---This study purpose to get the guided inquiry model implementation of the science process skills and creative thinking skills of students. The research method in the form of quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. This study was conducted in one State University in Bandung, which involves students of Chemistry, which consists of 18 students in the experimental class and 19 students in the control class. Instruments used in the form of 5 items descriptions, student worksheets, and observation sheet. The results of the test mean difference in science process skills of the students stated that the model of guided inquiry on the course lab analysis of protein can improve science process skills of students significantly between the experimental class and control class. Five indicators pertained high category (classify, predict, hypothesize, experiment planning, and communicating) with the value of N<gain> was 0.71; 1.00; 0.71; 0.78; and 0.71. Categories are being held by three indicators (observe, interpret, apply the concept) with a value of N<gain> 0,040; 0.69; and 0.58. On the creative thinking skills on the research results show that the model of guided inquiry on the course lab analysis of protein can improve creative thinking skills of students on indicators of flexibility and fluency. Seen from a comparison of each indicator creative thinking skills for the fluency indicators including high category with a value of N<gain> of 1.00. Category was for the indicators of flexibility and elaboration to the value of N<gain> of 0.70 and 0.68
