Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh metode belajar tutor sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran gitar. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa instrumen pilihan wajib petik (gitar) di Departemen Pendidikan Musik UPI. Sampelnya sebanyak 20 mahasiswa dipilih secara acak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah ex post facto. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen non tes. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa, metode belajar tutor sebaya berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa sehingga bisa meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dan untuk pengembangan diri dalam pembelajaran gitar. ;--- This research is aimed to investigate whether be found the influence of peer learning method on university student’s motivation on learning guitar. The population used in this research was university student of stringed instrument (guitar) in Department of Music Education UPI. The sample in this research was university student which was chosen in random. The method in this research was ex post facto. The instrument in this research was non-test instrument. Based on analysis and research, it can be conclude that peer learning method giving influence to university student’s motivation on learning, so it can increase university student’s motivation and as self development on learning guitar.
