Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas role playing dalam pengembangan kompetensi sosial. Subjek penelitian merupakan anak di TK A Bunda Asuh Nanda Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen Vineland Social Maturity Scale. Pengembangan kompetensi sosial dapat dilakukan dengan kegiatan bermain, salah satunya dengan role playing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain perlakuan ulang (one group pre and posttest design). Temuan Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa role playing efektif dalam pengembangan kompetensi sosial anak prasekolah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon, hal ini berguna untuk melihat hasil yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah treatrmen role playing yang diberikan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menambah informasi, kajian, serta literature mengenai teknik role playing, khususnya dalam pengembangan kompetensi sosial. ; The research aims to know the effectiveness of role playing in social competence development of students TK A Bunda Asuh Nanda. The research used Vineland Social Maturity Scale Instruments. Social competence development can be done with playing, such as role playing. The research method used was experimental design with repeated treatment (one group pre and post test design). The result of this research proved that role playing is effective for preschool student in their social competence development. The data obtained and analyzed using wilcoxon test, which is useful to see significant results between before and after role playing treatment. The results of this research are expected to add information, studies, and literature about role playing techniques, particularly in sosial competence development.
