Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan struktur, fungsi, dan nilai moral yang terdapat dalam cerita rakyat di Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Sumber data dalam penelitian yakni legenda Tapaktuan yang berasal dari Kecamatan Tapaktuan dan legenda Batu Becanang berasal dari Kecamatan Labuahanhaji Barat. Data yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini berasal dari rekaman hasil wawancara terhadap informan yang dianggap betul-betul mengetahui cerita tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis struktur legenda Tapaktuan dan Batu Becanang menggunakan alur maju. Tokoh utama dalam legenda Tapaktuan adalah Tuan Tapa dan tokoh utama dalam legenda Batu Becanang adalah Putri Cut. Latar tempat yang terdapat dalam legenda Tapaktuan yaitu gua Kalam, gunung Alue Naga, air terjun Tujuh Tingkat, air terjun Air Dingin, sungai Sirullah, pantai, dan laut. Adapun latar waktu dalam legenda Tapaktuan yakni sekitar tahun 4 Hijriah. Latar tempat yang terdapat dalam legenda Batu Becanang yakni kampung Peulokan, daerah Labuhanhaji, gunung Cut, pelabuhan, dan hutan. Latar waktu yang terdapat dalam legenda Batu Becanang yakni sekitar tahun 1015 Masehi. Tema yang terkandung dalam legenda Tapaktuan adalah tentang perjanjian yang tidak ditepati dan tema yang terkandung dalam legenda Batu Becanang adalah tentang niat untuk menculik seorang Putri. Sudut pandang terhadap kedua legenda tersebut adalah ‘orang ketiga-tidak terbatas’. Berkaitan dengan fungsi cerita, peneliti menemukan adanya empat jenis fungsi cerita yakni fungsi Estetis, fungsi Historis, fungsi Pragmatis, dan fungsi Etis. Adapun nilai moral yang ditemukan dalam kedua cerita legenda tersebut terbagi atas tiga yakni nilai moral individual, nilai moral sosial, dan nilai moral religi. Hasil analisis struktur, fungsi, dan nilai moral yang terkandung dalam kedua cerita rakyat di kabupaten Aceh Selatan yakni legenda Tapaktuan dan legenda Batu Becanang, peneliti memanfaatkannya untuk membuat sebuah bahan ajar apresiasi sastra di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) yang berupa modul pembelajaran. ; The purpose of this study was to describe the structure, function, and moral values contained in folklore in South Aceh District. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Sources of data in the study Tapaktuan legend originating from the Kecamatan Tapaktuan and legends Batu Becanang derived from the Kecamatan Labuhanhaji Barat. The data obtained from this study came from a recording informant interviews were considered really know the story. Based on analysis of the structure of legends Tapaktuan and Batu Becanang using chronological plot. The main character in the legend of Tapak Tuan was Tuan Tapa and a leading figure in the legend of Batu Becanang is Putri Cut. Background place contained in Tapak Tuan legend that the cave Kalam, mountain Alue Naga, Tingkat Tujuh waterfalls, Air Dingin waterfall , Sirullah river, beach and sea. The time setting in Tapaktuan legend that is around 4 Hijriah. Background places that exist in the legend of Batu Becanang the village Peulokan, Labuhanhaji area, Mountain Cut, ports, and forests. Time setting contained in the legend of Batu Becanang ie around 1015 Masehi. The themes contained in Tapaktuan legend is about the unfulfilled agreement and themes contained in Batu Becanang legend is about the intention to kidnap a princess. The viewpoint of the two legends is the 'third person-unlimited'. Relating with the function of the story, researchers found four types of functions of a story that is a function Aesthetic, Historical function, function Pragmatic and Ethical function. The moral values found in the story of the legend is divided into three namely individual moral values, moral values of social, religious and moral values. The results of the analysis of the structure, function, and moral values contained in one of the folklore in South Aceh district namely legend Tapaktuan, researchers used them to create an appreciation of literature teaching materials in the form of junior high school learning module.
