Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa yaitu model pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang diambil adalah model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana pengaruh model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X AP 2 yang menjadi kelompok kontrol berjumlah 36 orang dan kelas X AP 3 yang menjadi kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 36 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kuasi Eksperimen, dan bentuk kuasi eksperimen yang dipilih adalah Nonequivqlenty Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes, lembar observasi yang dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan skor gain ternormalisasi Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching lebih unggul dengan kategori tinggi dibandingkan dengan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik yang menerapkan model Discovery Learning dengan kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan antara penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. ; The problems to be studied in this research was the lack of students’ learning outcomes. The core study focused on one of the factor that affect students’ learning outcomes, that is model of learning. The learning model used is Quantum Teaching learning model. Accordingly, the subject matter disclosed in this study is what extent the influence of Quantum Teaching learning model towards students’ learning outcomes. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental with Nonequivalenty Control Group Design. The data collection technique used test, observation sheet were analyzed bynormalized gain score calculation and the respondents in this study is a 36 students in grade X of Administraton Program 2 as control group and 36 students in grade X of Administration Program 3 which became the experimental group. Based on the results of research showed that the improving cognitive ability of students that apply Quantum Teaching learning model is higher than the cognitive abilitiy of learners who apply the model of Discovery Learning. Thus, there were a difference between the application of Quantum Teaching learning models with Discovery Learning model.
