Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. Permasalahan yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran seperti dalam merencanakan pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya kompetensi guru. Fokus kajiannya diarahkan pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Kompetensi guru merupakan faktor yang diduga memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini mengkaji dua variabel yaitu kompetensi guru (variabel X) dan kinerja guru (variabel Y). Analisis mendalam dilakukan terhadap kedua variabel tersebut dengan variabel kontrol sertifikasi profesi guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kinerja guru dan kompetensi guru baik yang sudah tersertifikasi maupun yang belum tersertifikasi, pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru, serta perbedaan kompetensi kinerja guru yang sudah tersertifikasi dan yang belum tersertifikasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey explanation. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Responden merupakan sampel guru SMK Negeri 3 Bandung sebanyak 88 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi guru dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori tinggi; (2) Kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kinerja guru baik belum guru yang tersertifikasi maupun yang sudah tersertifikasi; dan (3) terdapat perbedaan kompetensi guru dan kinerja guru yang belum tersertifikasi dengan yang sudah tersertifikasi.; This research was conducted at The State Vocational High School 3 Bandung. The issue became a study in this research is the low teachers jobs performance in the learning such as plan learning, implementing and evaluating learning caused by low competence of teachers. Focus directed at factors that influenced the teachers jobs performance. Competence is a factor that is thought to have influence on the teachers jobs performance. Therefore the study examines two variables, namely (variable X) competence of teacher and teachers jobs performance (variable Y). In-depth analysis carried out against both of these variables with professional certification of teachers as variable control. The purpose of this research is to analyse level of teachers jobs performance and competence of teachers either certified or who haven't been certified, the influence of competence of teacher on teachers jobs performance, as well as the difference of teachers jobs performance competence of teachers who have been certified and that has not been certified. Research methods used survey explanation method. Data collection techniques used question form. The respondents were sample of teachers of The State Vocational High School 3 Bandung as many as 88 people. Data analysis techniques used simple regression. The results showed that: (1) the competence of teacher and teachers jobs performance are on a high category; (2) the positive effect of competence of teacher towards good teachers jobs performance level has not been certified or certified; and (3) there is a difference in competence of teacher and teachers jobs performance who have not been certified by the certified.
