Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Sunda untuk mengembangkan nilai karakter anak usia dini, dengan indikator masih ditemukannya guru PAUD yang belum memiliki pandangan yang sama tentang urgensi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Sunda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis program pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Sunda dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai karakter anak usia dini yang meliputi perencanaan, implementasi, profil nilai karakter anak dan kendala yang dihadapinya. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah studi kasus, karena peneliti ingin mengungkapkan secara mendalam tentang program pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Sunda apa adanya. Sumber data penelitian ini dipilih secara purposive dan bersifat snowball sampling. Data penelitian berupa data deskriptif yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi mengenai penyelenggaraan program pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Sunda. Hasil deskripsi dan analisa penemuan selanjutnya dikaji berdasarkan teori, kajian diagnosis, dan kajian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Perencanaan program pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Sunda dibuat secara terintegrasi dengan bidang pengembangan lainnya, dengan mengedepankan kekhasan budaya Sunda, (2) Implementasi pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Sunda mencakup kegiatan pembukaan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup, yang disampaikan melalui tahap penanaman, penumbuhan, pengembangan dan pemantapan , (3) Profil nilai karakter anak setelah pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Sunda dapat diinterpretasikan anak berperilaku sesuai dengan identitas budaya Sunda, (4) Kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Sunda adalah masih banyaknya anak-anak yang tidak mengerti bahasa Sunda sehingga guru harus menggunakan dua bahasa yaitu bahasa Sunda dan bahasa Indonesia. Rekomendasi diberikan kepada: (1) Guru (2) KepalaTK, dan (3) peneliti selanjutnya. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Sunda, Nilai-Nilai Karakter Anak Usia Dini The background to this research is the fact that not all early childhood education teachers are aware of the importance of implementing teaching and learning based on Sundanese local wisdom, ultimately to develop character values. This research aims to analyze the teaching and learning program based on Sundanese local wisdom to develop the character values of young children, focusing on the program’s planning and implementation, the profile of children’s character values that emerge, and the obstacles encountered during the teaching and learning based on Sundanese local wisdom. It adopted qualitative approach, which used case study, as the researcher would like to reveal deeply about the teaching and learning program based on Sundanese local wisdom as it is actually conducted in the real setting. The respondents were purposively selected with snowball sampling technique. The qualitative research data were obtained through observation, interview, and documentary analysis concerning the implementation of teaching and learning program based on Sundanese local wisdom. The findings were further analyzed based on theories, diagnostic study, and literature review. The research results show that: (1) The planning of teaching and learning program based on Sundanese local wisdom is made in an integration with other developmental aspects, with an aim of putting forward the sundanese culture; (2) The implementation of the teaching and learning includes opening, core, and closing activities, delivered through the steps of planting, growth, development and stabilization; (3) The profile of children’s character values after the teaching and learning based on Sundanese local wisdom demonstrates that students behave according to the sundanese cutural identity; (4) The obstacle encountered by teachers in the implementation of teaching and learning based on Sundanese local wisdom lies mainly in the fact that a large number of students do not understand Sundanese, thereby requiring the teachers to use two languages, Sundanese and Indonesian. The recommendations of this research are addressed to: (1) Teachers, (2) Principals of kindergarten, and (3) Other researchers.
