Abstract
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji dampak pengaruh senam sehat gembira dengan permainan tradisional terhadap peningkatan motorik kasar anak usia dini. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa PAUD Mutiara Sakinah sebanyak 26 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampling purposive dengan jumlah 14 siswa PAUD Mutiara Sakinah. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes motorik kasar dengan menggunakan ratting scale. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengolahan dan analisis dalam penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Latihan senam sehat gembira memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan motorik kasar anak usia dini 2) Latihan permainan tradisional memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan motorik kasar anak usia dini. 3) Tidak terdapat perbedaan antara latihan senam sehat gembira dengan permainan tradisional terhadap peningkatan motorik kasar anak usia dini. Saran untuk guru agar menerapkan latihan senam sehat gembira dan permainan tradisional untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik. *Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga FPOK UPI 2011. The research objective was to assess the impact of the influence of fun gymnastics with the traditional games towards the improvement of early childhood gross motor skills. The method of the research was experimental. The population of this research was the student in PAUD Mutiara Sakinah which are consist of 26 students. The sampling technique in this research was a purposive sampling with 14 students of PAUD Mutiara Sakinah. The instrument used is a gross motor test using ratting scale. Based on the results of processing and analysis in this study, it can be concluded that: 1) fun gymnastic exercises give a significant influence on the improvement of early childhood gross motor skills; 2) traditional game exercises have a significant influence on the improvement of early childhood gross motor skills; 3) There is no difference between fun gymnastics and traditional games towards the improvement in early childhood gross motor skills. After all, this can be a good advice for teachers to implement fun gymnastic exercises and traditional games to improve student’s gross motor skills. *Student of Sports Coaching Education Program FPOK UPI, 2011
