Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya angka anak putus sekolah di daerah perkotaan salah satunya di kota Bandung. Anak putus sekolah merupakan proses berhentinya siswa secara terpaksa dari suatu lembaga pendidikan tempat dia belajar karena berbagai faktor. Alhasil untuk mengurangi angka putus sekolah dikeluarkanlah kebijakan pemerintah, salah satunya adalah program Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) yang diselenggarakan di SDN Luginasari 2 Bandung, dengan adanya program Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) maka kesempatan anak putus sekolah untuk kembali mengakses pendidikan menjadi lebih mudah dan terbuka. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana eksistensi program Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) dalam membantu terciptanya pendidikan anak putus sekolah dasar di SDN Luginasari 2 Bandung. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai hal itu, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi melalui wawancara mendalam, studi dokumentasi, dan studi literatur untuk memperkuat analisis dan hasil penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa bentuk pendidikan yang diberikan oleh program Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) merupakan bentuk sekolah formal. Kondisi peserta didik yang ada di Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) beraneka ragam, ada yang mengundurkan diri ada pula yang masih bertahan. Peran orang tua secara keseluruhan membantu terselenggaranya program Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) ini dan upaya pihak sekolah dalam mengatasi kesulitan proses belajar pada Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) mencoba untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran menarik sehingga sekolah dirasa menyenangkan bagi siswa. School drop out are students forced the cessation of an institution where he studied for a variety of factors. So to reduce the drop out rate was issued government policies, one of which is the program Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) held in SDN Luginasari 2 Bandung, with the program Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK), then a chance of school drop out return to education becomes easier and open. Therefore, this study aims to determine how the program's existence Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) in assisting the creation of children out of primary school education in SDN Luginasari 2 Bandung. To get an idea of it, the researchers used a qualitative approach to data collection techniques of observation through in-depth interviews, documentary studies, and literature studies to strengthen analysis and research. Results from this study that the forms of education provided by the program Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) is a form of formal schooling. Conditions learners in Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) variegated, some resigned there are also surviving. The role of parents over all to help the implementation of programs Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) and efforts to overcome the difficulties of the school in the learning process in Kelas Layanan Khusus (KLK) tries to apply the model of learning interesting, so the school is considered fun for students.
