Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji Model Penanaman Nilai Religius Melalui Kesenian Tadut pada Masyarakat Besemah di Pagaralam Sumatera Selatan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma deskriftif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di daerah Besemah Pagaralam Sumatera Selatan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Pemuka Adat, tokoh Agama, Tokoh Masyarakat dan Budayawan di masyarakat Besemah Pagaralam. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Data diolah dan dianalisis secara kualitatif kemudian direduksi untuk memperoleh Model Penanaman Nilai Religius Melalui Kesenian Tadut pada Masyarakat Besemah di Pagaralam Sumatera Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesenian tadut merupakan kearifan lokal yang mengandung nilai religius di masyarakat Besemah. Nilai-nilai religius yang terdapat di kesenian tadut pada masyarakat Besemah Pagaralam Sumatera Selatan terdiri atas tiga aspek, meliputi pekik (norma kehidupan), tauhid (keimanan), dan tasawwuf (akhlak). Adapun aspek-aspek pekik meliputi: a) Menjalankan Ibadah Shalat; b) Perintah Menuntut Ilmu; c) Berdoa Kepada Allah SWT. Sedangkan aspek-aspek tauhid dalam kesenian tadut meliputi: a). Iman kepada Allah; b) Iman Kepada Malaikat Allah; c) Iman kepda kitab Allah; d) Iman kepada Rasul Allah; e) Iman kepada Hari Kiamat; f) Iman kepada Takdir Allah. Kemudian aspek-aspek tasawuf/akhlak dalam kesenian tadut meliputi: a) Berbakti kepada Orang Tua; b) disiplin; c) Memberikan Teladan; d) Bersyukur; e) Tanggung Jawab; f) Sabar; g) Tawakal; dan h) Jujur. Adapun falsafah masyarakat Besemah yang berkaitan dengan aspek-aspek di kesenian tadut yakni falsafah “Ganti Nga Tungguan” (Akhlakul Karimah). Proses penanaman nilai religius melalui kesenian tadut tersebut diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi melalui proses belajar atau enkulturasi dan inkulturasi. Adapun tahapan penanaman nilai religius melalui kesenian tadut yakni teladan, memberikan bimbingan akhlak, imitasi atau meniru, latihan, pengulangan, dan pembiasaan. Kata Kunci: Model penanaman nilai religius, kesenian tadut. This study investigated a model to instil religious values through ‘tadut’ art in the Besemah people in Pagaralam, South Sumatera. This study used a descriptive qualitative paradigma. This study was conducted in Besemah, Pagaralam, South Sumatera. The subjects of this study were the male elder, religious leaders, community leader, and literary figures in the Besemah people, Pagaralam. The data were collected from observation, interview, and documentation study. The data was analysed qualitatively which was in turn reduced in order to obtain the model to instil religious values through ‘tadut’ art in the Besemah people, Pagaralam, South Sumatera. This study showed that ‘tadut’ art contains religious values in the Besemah people. The religious values consist of three aspects, namely pekik (a norm of life), tauhid (faith), and tasawwuf (akhlaq/behaviour). In addition, the pekik aspects are: a) practice shalat; b) study; c) pray to Allah SWT. The tauhid aspects are: a). believe in Allah; b) believe in the angels of Allah; c) believe in the books of Allah; d) believe in the prophets of Allah; e) believe in the doomsdays; f) believe in Allah’s fate. In addition, tasawuf/akhlaq aspects: a) be filial son or daughter of parents; b) be a discipline person; c) be a good role model; d) be a thankful person; e) be a responsible person; f) be a patient person; g) be tawakal; and h) be honest. The philosophy of the Besemah people is “Ganti Nga Tungguan” (akhlakul karimah). Instilling religious values through ‘tadut’ art can be inherited to the next generation through learning process or enculturation or inculturation. Further, the stages of instilling the religious values are to teladan, to give a guidance, to imitate, to practice, to repeat, and to get used to it.
