Abstract

Pada zaman modern ini, alat transportasi terdiri dari berbagai macam jenis, seperti kendaraan roda empat (mobil) atau kendaraan roda dua (motor). Alat transportasi saat ini menjadi suatu benda yang umum dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Dari segi fungsi, alat transportasi mampu mengefisienkan waktu dari jarak tempuh ke tempat tujuan. Namun, pada zaman ini. Fungsi dari alat transportasi ini mengalami perubahan. Masyarakat memiliki alat transportasi berupa kendaraan roda empat atau roda dua, menjadi salah satu prestise bagi pemiliknya. Begitu pula pada kalangan peserta didik Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Atas (SLTA), dimana mayoritas dari peserta didik saat ini menggunakan kendaraan pribadi sebagai alat transportasi dari rumah menuju ke sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah, ingin mengetahui pengaruh pemilikan jenis kendaraan bermotor terhadap pembentukan kelas sosial dan status sosial. pada kalangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lima (SLTA) di Kecamatan Cisarua Kabupaten Bandung Barat. dengan jumlah sampel 92 responden dari total populasi peserta didik sebanyak 1087 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kepemilikan jenis kendaraan bermotor terhadap pembentukan kelas sosial sebesar 55% dan sebesar 25,50% berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan status sosial pada kalangan peserta didik di Kecamatan Cisarua Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini salah satunya bagi pihak sekolah, diharapkan mampu untuk mengatasi permasalahan mengenai kepemilikan kendaraan bermotor dan pengaruhnya terhadap kelas sosial dan status sosial yang terbentuk pada kalangan peserta didik. Karena, dalam kegiatan belajar disekolah, peserta didik tidak hanya berkumpul ketika jam pelajaran berlangsung, tetapi juga mereka membentuk kelompok-kelompok kecil diluar jam sekolah dan berkumpul secara rutin. Hal inilah yang patut mendapat perhatian dari pihak sekolah, sehingga sekolah mampu mengarahkan peserta didiknya agar tidak berkumpul ditempat-tempat tertentu dan tidak melakukan hal-hal yang negatif. Similarly, at the school of advanced learners among top level (SLTA), where the majority of students now use private vehicles as a means of transportation from the House of heading to school. The purpose of this research is, want to know the influence of the type of ownership of a motor vehicle against the formation of social class and social status. among learners. This research was conducted in five (SLTA) in Cisarua West Bandung Regency. with the number of samples of the 92 respondents out of a total population of learners as much as 1087 people. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods, with the techniques of data collection using the questionnaire. The results showed, that there are influences between ownership types of motor vehicles against the establishment of a social class of 55% and amounted to 25.50% effect on the formation of social status among learners in Cisarua West Bandung Regency. Recommendations from this research one on behalf of the school, is expected to be able to resolve the problems concerning the ownership of a motor vehicle and its influence on social class and social status which was formed among learners. Because, in the learning activities in schools, learners not only gathered when lessons take place, but also they form small groups outside of school hours and gathered on a regular basis. It deserves the attention of the school, so the school was able to steer his protégé participants so as not to gather specific place and not doing things that are negative.
