Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi atas keingintahuan peneliti terhadap keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan media gambar dua dimensi dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen berbasis kisah heroik. Model pembelajaran kooperatif ini merupakan model yang menekankan kerjasama tim dalam sebuah kelompok dalam menyelesaikan sebuah permasalahan yang dilengkapi penggunaan media gambar dua dimensi sebagai sarana untuk mempermudah dalam pembuatan cerita pendek berbasis kisah heroik siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen berbasis kisah heroik di kelas eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran, 2) kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen berbasis kisah heroik di kelas kontrol sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran, 3) mengenai apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen berbasis kisah heroik di kelas eksperimen dan di kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen kuasi (quasi eksperimental) dengan desain Nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliah Al Maarif Cilageni. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas sebagai sampel, satu kelas menempati kelas eksperimen yaitu X IIS 1 dan satu kelas lagi merupakan kelas control yaitu X IIS 2. Berdasarkan data penelitian yang telah diolah menggunakan perhitungan langsung, hasil pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji t hipotesis, diperoleh hasil Ha > Ho thitung (4,46) > ttabel (1,999) pada taraf kepercayaan 95% dan dk 60 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dalam kemampuan menulis cerita pendek. Nilai rata-rata pretest di kelas eksperimen sebesar 70 dengan kategori cukup dan nilai rata-rata posttest di kelas eksperimen sebesar 78 dengan kategori baik. Sementara itu, nilai rata-rata pretest di kelas kontrol sebesar 66 dengan kategori cukup dan nilai rata-rata posttest di kelas kontrol sebesar 68 dengan kategori cukup. Hal ini menunjukkan keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan media gambar dua dimensi dalam menulis cerita pendek berbasis kisah heroik siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliah Al Maarif Cilageni. This research is motivated by knowed effectiveness of cooperative learning model with two-dimensional image media in a short story writing based heroic story This cooperative learning model is a model that emphasizes teamwork in a group in solving a problem that is fitted using a two-dimensional image media as a means to facilitate the making of short stories text-based story of the heroic students. Merger way this study aims to obtain a more optimal learning meaning, making it easier for the achievement of learning objectives. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) ability of students to write a short story based on the story of the heroic in the experimental class before and after the study, 2) ability of students to write a short story based on the story of the heroic in control classes before and after the learning, 3) About is there a difference significantly on the ability of students to write a short story based on the heroic story of the experimental class and control class.This research used a quasy experimental research (quasy eksperimental) with Nonequivalent control group design. Population in this research is class X Madrasah Aliah Al Maarif Cilageni This design involves two classes, one class occupied the experimental class is X IIS 1 and another class is a class of controlis X IIS 2. Based on research result that have been processed using direction calculation, pretest and posttest result of experimental class and control class is norml and homogeneous distribution. Based on the calculation t test hypotheses, obtained result Ha > Ho tcount (4,46) > ttable (1,999) at the level of 95% and dk 60 so that Ha accepted ang Ho rejected. This case show that there are significant differences between the experimental class and control class in the ability to write short story text. The average pretest score inthe experimental class of 70 with enough categories and the average value of posttest in the experimental class of 78 with either category. While the average value of pretest in control class is 66 with enough categories and the average value of posttest in the control class is 68 with enough categories. This show the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning models with two dimensional picture in a short story writing based heroic story in class X Madrasah Aliah Al Maarif Cilageni.
