Abstract

Di SMAN Kota Bandung masih ditemukan banyak sekolah yang belum berpedoman pada UU-SKN nomor 3 tahun 2005. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana profil pembinaan dan pengembangan olahraga pendidikan di SMAN Kota Bandung diantaranya meliputi profil pelaksanaan penjas di Kota Bandung, profil keterlaksanaan konsep kelas olahraga dan unit kegiatan olahraga, profil ekstrakulikuler, profil PPLP siswa SMAN di Kota Bandung, dan profil kompetisi olahraga antar pelajar di Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif/deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 6 sekolah yang dipilih secara random sampling menurut pembagian wilayah masing-masing, yaitu terdiri dari SMAN 2 Bandung, SMAN 9 Bandung, SMAN 10 Bandung, SMAN 11 Bandung, SMAN 12 Bandung, dan SMAN 24 Bandung. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan dilakukannya observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini akan dilakukan proses pengolahan data untuk menjawab masalah dalam penelitian. Data yang diperoleh adalah data yang didapat melalui teknik wawancara yang kemudian dianalisis dan selanjutnya akan disimpulkan sehingga akan mendekati keabsahan kebenaran, dan memberikan gambaran yang jelas berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini. Hasil akhir penelitian berdasarkan data-data kualitatif ini dapat diketahui rentangnya dari sisi indikatornya yaitu ekstrakulikuler, kelas olahraga, unit kegiatan olahraga, PPLP, dan kompetisi. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sekolah SMAN 2 Bandung, SMAN 9 Bandung, SMAN 10 Bandung, dan SMAN 11 Bandung masuk kategori baik, SMAN 24 dan SMAN 12 masuk kategori cukup. Kategori tersebut dihasilkan dari hasil akumulasi data-data kualitatif dari beberapa indikator. Kata kunci : Olahraga, profil, SMAN, Kota Bandung In SMAN of Bandung, it is found that there are many schools that have not follow the Law of SKN No. 3 2005. The aims of this research is to discover the extent to which the construction profile and development of sports education in SMAN of Bandung including the implementation profile of physical education in Bandung, the realization of exercise classes concept and sports activities unit profile, extracurricular profile, PPLP profile of high school students in Bandung, and profile of sports competition among students in Bandung. Qualitative descriptive method is applied in this research. Six high schools are selected randomly as the sample based on each regional division of the schools. The selected schools are SMAN 2 Bandung, SMAN 9 Bandung, SMAN 10 Bandung, SMAN 11 Bandung, SMAN 12 Bandung, and SMAN 24 Bandung. Furthermore, the data of this research are collected by doing an observation and interview. The results of the research are further processed to answer the problems of the research. The data obtained through the interview are analyzed and concluded to lead to the validity of truth, which provide a clear picture of the issues raised in the research. The final results of the research which are based on the qualitative data can be seen from the indicators: extracurricular, exercise class, sports activities unit, PPLP, and competition. Based on the research, it can be concluded that SMAN 2 Bandung, SMAN 9 Bandung, SMAN 10 Bandung, and SMAN 11 Bandung are categorized as good, while SMAN 24 and SMAN 12 are categorized as enough. These categories are resulted from the accumulation of the qualitative data seen from the indicators. Keywords: Sports, profile, SMAN, Bandung
