Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah yang berkaitan dengan rendahnya motivasi belajar anak di Kelompok B Taman Kanak-Kanak GIKI yang ditunjukkan dengan anak yang kurang antusias, mudah teralihkan konsentrasinya, dan juga anak terlihat jenuh pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui kondisi objektif motivasi belajar anak Kelompok B Taman Kanak-Kanak GIKI sebelum diterapkan metode proyek, (2) Untuk mengetahui penerapan metode proyek dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak Kelompok B di Taman Kanak-Kanak GIKI, dan (3) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar anak Kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak GIKI setelah penerapan metode proyek. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah memperoleh gambaran mengenai penggunaan metode proyek dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak Kelompok B Taman Kanak-Kanak GIKI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 11 orang anak terdiri dari 5 anak laki-laki dan 6 anak perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi awal motivasi belajar anak di Kelompok B Taman Kanak-Kanak GIKI masih rendah dimana dalam kategori Belum Muncul sebanyak 58%, kategori Mulai Muncul sebanyak 36% dan dalam kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan sebanyak 6% saja. Setelah penerapan metode proyek, motivasi belajar anak mengalami peningkatan pada Siklus I dan Siklus II. Pada Siklus I motivasi belajar anak dalam kategori Belum Muncul sebanyak 32%, kategori Mulai Muncul sebanyak 49% dan dalam kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan sebanyak 19%, dan pada Siklus II motivasi belajar anak dalam kategori Belum Muncul yaitu sebenyak 16%, kategori Mulai Muncul sebanyak 37% dan dalam kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan sebanyak 47%. Dengan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar anak di setiap siklus I dan II artinya metode proyek ini efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak. Adapun rekomendasi yang diberikan untuk penelitian ini adalah diharapkan untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang lain yang lebih baik dan efektif dan juga dapat mengembangkan indikator motivasi belajar yang lebih luas sehingga hasilnya bisa lebih baik. Kata kunci : motivasi belajar anak, metode proyek. This research is motivated by the problems associated with the lack of motivation to learn children in Group B Kindergarten GIKI shown with a child who is less enthusiastic, easily distracted concentration, and also the child looks saturated during learning activities. Based on this research aims (1) To determine the objective conditions of children's learning motivation Group B Kindergarten GIKI before implementation methods of the project, (2) To investigate the application of project methods in improving learning motivation Group B children in kindergarten GIKI, and (3) To determine the improvement of children's learning motivation Group B Kindergarten GIKI after the implementation of the project method. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the use of the project in improving children's learning motivation Group B Kindergarten GIKI. This study uses a class action research (CAR). Subjects in this study amounted to 11 children consists of 5 boys and 6 girls. The results showed that the initial conditions of children's learning motivation in Group B Kindergarten GIKI still low which in category Not Appear as much as 58%, the category of Emerging as much as 36% and in the category of Emerging accordance Hope as much as 6% only. After the application of the method of the project, the motivation to learn the child has increased in Cycle I and Cycle II. In the first cycle in the category of children's motivation to learn as much as 32% Not Appear, category Emerging as much as 49% and in the category of Emerging accordance Hope as much as 19%, and in the second cycle of children's learning motivation in that category yet Appears sebenyak 16%, category Emerging as much as 37% and in the category of Emerging accordance Hope as much as 47%. With the improvement of children's learning motivation in every cycle I and II of this project means that the method is effective in improving children's learning motivation. The recommendations given for this research is expected to further research may use other methods of learning better and effective and can also develop indicators of motivation to learn the wider so that the results could be better.
