Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang mendapatkan perlakuan metode konvensional dengan teknik diskusi dan metode pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing (guided discovery) pada mata pelajaran kewirausahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan subyek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI PS 1 (kelas kontrol) dan XI PS 3 (kelas guided discovery). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan tes tertulis yang diberikan guru kepada siswa. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan uji t (paired-sample t-test) dan independent sample t-test menggunakan aplikasi program SPSS. 21. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing (guided discovery) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang menggunakan metode guided discovery lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Kata kunci : Guided discovery, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif. This study aimed to determine the differences in creative thinking ability of students who received conventional treatment methods with techniques of discussion and guided discovery learning methods (guided discovery) on the subject of entrepreneurship. The method used is a quasi-experimental methods, the study subjects consisted of two classes of class XI PS 1 (control group) and XI PS 3 (class guided discovery) . Data was collected through observation and written test given to the student. Data processing is performed by t-test (paired-sample t-test) and the independent sample t-test using SPSS 21 application . Based on the results of the study showed that the method of guided discovery can improve students' ability to think creatively . Increased ability to think creatively student using guided discovery method is higher than the increase in creative thinking ability of students using conventional teaching methods.
