Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh merosotnya moral bangsa sehingga terjadi dekadensi moral pada anak usia remaja yang masih sekolah, seperti tawuran, sex bebas, narkoba, tidak patuh dan hormat pada orang tua, dan lain sebagainya. Hal itu dikarenakan lembaga pendidikan belum mempunyai konsep metode pembinaan terhadap akhlak mulia yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembinaan siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh konsep metode pembinaan akhlak mulia yang tepat dan dapat diaplikasikan dengan baik pada sebuah lembaga pendidikan tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pada prosesnya peneliti menempatkan diri sebagai human instrument. Adapun lokasi penelitiannya adalah pesantren Al-Ishlah Tajug Indramayu Jawa Barat, dengan subjek penelitiannya Kiyai (Pimpinan) pesantren sebagai elite respondent yaitu KH. Imam Mawardi Hakim. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menemukan beberapa hal terkait dengan konsep metode pembinaan akhlak mulia, yaitu sebagai berikut: 1) Makna metode pembinaan akhlak mulia yaitu pembinaan mental yang dapat melahirkan sikap dan perilaku yang baik. 2) Tujuan metode pembinaan akhlak mulia yaitu untuk mempermudah dalam membentuk kepribadian santri yang berpedoman pada ajaran Islam dalam segala tingkah lakunya yang berorientasi kepada hari akhirat. 3) Macam-macam metodenya yaitu keteladanan, pembiasaan, hukuman, nasehat. 4) Dasar-dasar metodenya mengacu pada agama, psikologis, dan sosiologis. 5) Prinsip-prinsip metode pembinaan yaitu dilakukan terus menerus, perubahan individu dan sosial, sesuai dengan keadaan zaman, bervariasi, penyadaran, kasih sayang, dan keterkaitan. Kata Kunci: Metode dan Pembinaan Akhlak Mulia. This study was motivated by the moral decline of the nation resulting in moral decadence in children of school age adolescents who still like brawl, free sex, drugs, do not obey and respect their parents, and so forth. It is because the institution does not have the concept of the noble character of coaching methods that can be applied in coaching students. The purpose of this study was to obtain the concept of noble character coaching methods appropriate and well can be applied in a particular institution. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. In the process the researchers put themselves as human instrument. The location of the study was the Al-Islah Tajug boarding school in Indramayu West Java, with a research subject, Kiyai (Leader) as an elite boarding respondent namely KH. Imam Mawardi Hakim. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation study. This study found a couple of issues related to the concept of noble character coaching methods, as follows: 1) Meaning noble character coaching method that can give rise to mental coaching attitudes and good behavior. 2) Objective methods of coaching noble character is to facilitate in shaping the personality of the students are guided by the teachings of Islam in any behavior which is oriented to the hereafter. 3) Various methods are exemplary, habituation, penalties, advice. 4) The basics of the method refers to the religious, psychological, and sociological. 5) The principles of the method is performed continuously coaching, individual and social change, according to the circumstances of the times, varied, awareness, compassion, and connection.
