Abstract

Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa memahami konsep pemerintahan pusat Negara Indonesia yang dinilai cukup abstrak untuk siswa kelas sekolah dasar kelas IV serta penggunaan metode pembelajaran oleh guru yang belum tepat dengan materi pemerintahan pusat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui proses pelaksanaan penerapan metode pembelajaran make a match untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pemerintahan pusat dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. (2) dan mengetahui perkembangan hasil belajarpemerintahan pusat siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan yang menerapkan metode cooperative learning tipe make a match pada proses pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang diadaptasi dari model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan. Setiap tahapan terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, siklus I sebsear 55,00 % dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 80,00 %. Dari data tersebut menunjukkan ada peningkatan hasil belajarsiswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode cooperative learning tipe make a match. Selain itu, dengan menerapkan metode cooperative learning tipe make a match di materi pemerintahan pusat siswa lebih bekerjasama dan memiliki kepercayaan diri menyampaikan pendapat di kelas. Simpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa metode cooperative learning tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pemerintahan pusat siswa kelas IV. --------- The implementation of this research is motivated by the difficulties students understand the concept of the central government State Indonesia which was considered quite abstract for the students of fourth grade elementary school classes as well as the use of learning methods by teachers who are not right with the central government's material. This study aims to: (1) Know the process of implementation of the application of learning methods make a match for improving student learning outcomes in the material of the central government in subjects Civic Education Elementary School fourth grade. (2) and know the progress of the students at the center govermenment subjects Civic Education to implement cooperative learning methods make a match type in the learning process. This study uses a Class Action Research (PTK), which was adapted from the model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. Therefore, this study was conducted with several stages. Each stage consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. Research results improving student learning outcomes, sebsear 55.00% first cycle and the second cycle increased to 80.00%. From these data indicate no increase belajarsiswa after learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning type make a match. In addition, by implementing cooperative learning methods make a match type in the material of the central government more students cooperate and have the confidence of expression in the classroom. Conclusions from this research that the type of cooperative learning methods make a match can improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students of the central government.
