Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendekripsikan upaya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Index Card Match di Kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Juni 2015 dengan fokus penelitian pada siswa kelas III (Tiga). Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklus sebanyak dua pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 94,28% dengan nilai rata-rata 91,14 pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). PTK dilaksanakan sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang muncul di dalam kelas. Metode ini dilakukan dalam empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Keempat tahap tersebut merupakan siklus yang berlangsung secara berulang dan dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah yang sama dan difokuskan pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebagai tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan. Sebaiknya dilakukan penelitian serupa untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sehingga memperoleh hasil yang optimal dalam setiap pelajaran. --------- This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in Social Studies subjects using learning method Index Card Match in Class III SDN Sukajadi 3 Bandung. This study was conducted in April-June 2015 in SDN Sukajadi 3 with research focus in class 3 (Three). This research was conducted in two cycles with each cycle during the two meetings. The results showed that there is an increasing learning outcomes by 94,28% with an average value of 91,14 students on the subjects of Social Studies. The method used in this study is the method of classroom action research (CAR). CAR implemented in an attempt to overcome the problems that arise in the classroom. This method is performed in four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The fourth stage of the cycle that takes place repeatedly and performed with the same steps and focused on improving student learning outcomes as the goal of the research conducted. Similar studies should be done to improve student learning outcomes so as to obtain optimum results in every lesson.
