Abstract
Idealnya proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan mengacu pada Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan. Kenyatannya sarana dan prasarana praktik Program Studi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah, belum sepenuhnya tercapai dengan standar BNSP. Berdasarakan observasi awal, luas area praktik sebuah SMK memiliki rasio yang lebih kecil dari standar BNSP. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran nyata tentang sarana dan prasarana praktik Program Studi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat ketercapaian ditinjau dari kondisi prasarana praktik otomotif adalah 100% (sangat layak), area kerja engine otomotif 42,85% (kurang layak), area kelistrikan otomotif 28,57 % (tidak layak), area kerja chasis dan pemindah tenaga 28,57% (tidak layak), area ruang penyimpanan dan instruktur 100% (sangat layak), general tools adalah 100% (sangat layak), alat ukur otomotif 30,43% (tidak layak), special service tools (SST) 29,41% (tidak layak). Kata Kunci:Eksplorasi, Sarana, Prasarana, Praktik. Ideally, the process of learning in Vocational High School refers to the National Education Standards Agency. The fact infrastructure practices Study Skills Program Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah, has not been fully achieved with standard BNSP. Based on preliminary observations, the practice of a vocational area has a smaller ratio than standard BNSP. The purpose of this research is to gain a real picture of the infrastructure practices Study Skills Program Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK 7 Baleendah. This research method is descriptive method. The results of the study showed that the level of achievement in terms of the condition of the automotive practice infrastructure is 100% (very decent), automotive engine work area 42.85% (less feasible), the area of automotive electrical 28.57% (not worth it), and the chassis work area power transfer 28.57% (not feasible), the storage space area and instructor 100% (very decent), general toolsadalah 100% (very decent), automotive measuring instrument 30.43% (not worth it), special service tools (SST) 29.41% (not worth it).
