Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang kompetensi dasar peserta didik dalam menghias kain menggunakan variasi tusuk hias dasar. Hasil pengamatan penelitian diketahui bahwa pembelajaran dalam menghias kain masih terdapat peserta didik yang belum kompeten dalam menghias kain menggunakan variasi tusuk hias dasar. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana penguasaan kompetensi dasar peserta didik dalam menghias kain pada program kerumahtanggaan kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data tentang penguasaan kompetensi dasar peserta didik dalam menghias kain pada program kerumahtanggaan kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Lembang pada aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah peserta didik program kerumahtanggaan kelas VII yang berjumlah 120. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel random sampling sebanyak 54. Teknik penggumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes pengetahuan dan tes kinerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan peserta didik yang telah mengikuti praktek menghias kain dalam aspek kognitif pada indikator pengetahuan alat sebagian besar dari jumlah peserta didik yang telah mengikuti praktek menghias kain sudah mencapai kategori kompeten, sedangkan pada indikator pengetahuan bahan, macam-macam tusuk hias dasar dan variasinya dan pola hias kurang dari setengah jumlah peserta didik yang telah mengikuti praktek menghias kain sudah mencapai kategori kompeten. Pada aspek afektif sebagian besar dari jumlah peserta didik yang mengikuti praktek menghias kain termasuk pada kategori kompeten dan pada aspek psikomotor sebagian besar dari jumlah peserta didik yang mengikuti praktek menghias kain termasuk kategori kompeten. Rekomendasi diajukan pada peserta didik Program kerumahtanggaan kelas VII, agar dapat lebih meningkatkan kemampuan menghias kain dengan menggunakan variasi tusuk hias dasar. The observations reveal that learning in decorating fabric using variations of the basic decorative skewers there are students who have not competent. The research problems are: how mastery of basic competencies of learners in the fabric decorating homemaking program class VII in SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the basis of competence mastery decorate fabric learners in class VII homemaking program in SMP Negeri 3 Lembang on cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The method used descriptive method. The population in the study were students of class VII homemaking program totaling 120. The sample used is a sample random sampling technique 54. data collectingin this study using a knowledge test and a performance test. The results showed that the ability of learners who have followed the practice of decorating cloth in the cognitive aspects of knowledge indicator tool substantial portion of learners who have followed the practice of decorating fabric has reached the category of competent, while the indicator of knowledge of materials, various basic and decorative skewers variations and decorative patterns are less than half the number of students who have followed the practice of decorating fabric has reached category competent. In most of the affective aspect of the number of students who follow the practice of decorating cloth included in the category of competent and psychomotor aspects of most of the number of students who follow the practice of decorating fabrics including competent category. Recommendations submitted to the students of class VII homemaking program, in order to further improve the ability of decorating cloth using a variation of the basic decorative skewers.
