Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi di SMP Negeri 2 Lembang yaitu adanya indikasi bullying siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS.Oleh karena itu, peneliti ingin mengurangi perilaku bullying siswa melalui pembelajaran IPS dengan menerapkan komunikasi interpersonal,hal ini ditujukan untuk mengurangi perilaku bullying. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan selama tiga siklus, terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Perolehan data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru, lembar observasi siswa,dan angket. Berdasarkan dari penelitian ini pada siklus 1 masuk ke dalam kategori cukup terjadi peningkatan pada siklus ke 2 dan siklus ke 3 mengalami perubahan yang signifikan yaitu dengan indikator mengucilkan, menulis ejekan di bangku, memanggil nama dengan sebutan tidak sopan, memanggil nama dengan nama orang tua, mengacungkan jari tengah, menjambak, dan merusak barang punya teman sudah tidak terlihat, yang artinya semua siswa sudah tidak berperilaku bullying dalam indikator yang disebutkan tadi.Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan komunikasi interpersonal dapat mengurangi perilaku bullying siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Lembang Kata Kunci : perilaku bullying, Komunikasi Interpersonal, Pembelajaran IPS This research is motivated by the issue raised in Junior High School 2 of Lembang that is indications of student’sbehavior of bullying in learning social education science. Therefore, the researcher want to reduce student bullying behavior through learning social education science by applying interpersonal communication, it is intended to reduce bullying behavior. This research is a classroom action research which is conducted for three cycles; consist of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data acquisition in this study was obtained from the observation of teacher activity, student observation sheet and questionnaire. Based on this research in cycle 1 goes into the category sufficient an increase, in cycle 2 and cycle 3 has a significant change that is the indicators to isolate, to write ribbing on the bench, threatening, calling by disrespectful names, calling the name with the name of their parent, showing middle finger, hair pulling and broke the goods of their friend are not already visible, which means that all the students do not behave bullying in the indicators mentioned above. It can be concluded that the application of interpersonal communication can reduce bullying behavior of students in Junior High School 2 of Lembang.
