Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang profil ranah psikomotor siswa pada submateri kapasitas larutan penyangga menggunakan kit praktikum kimia skala kecil. Ranah psikomotor siswa yang dinilai di dalam penelitian ini meliputi tiga aspek, yaitu persepsi (perception), kesiapan (set) dan gerakan terbimbing (guide response). Subjek penelitian adalah 25 siswa SMA kelas XI semester 2 di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung yang telah mempelajari materi pengertian larutan penyangga dan sifat-sifat larutan penyangga. Di dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif, dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi dan angket. Penggunaan lembar observasi bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data profil ranah psikomotor siswa, sedangkan penggunaan angket bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data tanggapan siswa terhadap kit praktikum kimia skala kecil. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapat nilai rata-rata ranah psikomotor siswa sebesar 92,1%, dalam kategori baik sekali. Tanggapan siswa terhadap kit praktikum kimia skala kecil juga menunjukkan tanggapan baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,3%.---------- This research aimed to obtain information about the profile of initial psychomotor domain of student on submateri capacity of the buffer solution using small-scale chemistry lab kit. Psychomotor domain of students assessed in this study includes three aspects, there are perception, set and guide response. The subjects are 25 pupils of secondary class on second semester in one of the high schools in Bandung, which has been studying the definition of buffer solution and properties of buffer solution. This research uses descriptive method with observation sheet and questionnaire as instrument. Observation sheet aims to obtain the profile data of initial psychomotor domain of the students, while the questionnaires aimed at getting the student response data of uses the small scale chemistry lab kit. From the research that has been conducted, the average value obtained initial psychomotor domain of the student at 92.1%, the values obtained in very good categories. Students' responses of small scale chemistry lab kit also showed good responses with an average value of 77.3%.
