    Abstract

    Permasalah yang dikaji didalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai rendahnya kepuasan kerja karyawan Food and Beverage Product Department The Papandayan Hotel Bandung yang ditandai dengan tingginya tingkat turnover di dalam perusahaan. Permasalahan ini harus segera diatasi karena apabila tidak segera ditangani dapat menjadi penghambat bagi tercapainya tujuan The Papandayan Hotel Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai lingkungan kerja karyawan, kepuasan kerja dan sejauh mana pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan Food and Beverage Product Department The Papandayan Hotel Bandung. Aspek yang diteliti meliputi dua hal yaitu lingkungan kerja dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan eksplanatif dengan populasi berjumlah 50 orang responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah koefisien korelasi pearson dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan kepuasan kerja karyawan Food and Beverage Product Department The Papandayan Hotel Bandung berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil perhitungan korelasi sebesar 0,631 artinya terdapat hubungan yang cukup tinggi antara lingkungan kerja dengan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Hasil perhitungan analisis regresi sederhana didapat persamaan Y= 10,267 + 0,623X dan KD= 39,87 artinya pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan sebesar 39,87% sedangkan sisanya 60,13% dipengaruhi faktor yang tidak diteliti. Saran yang diberikan sebaiknya perusahaan lebih memperhatikan lingkungan kerja baik fisik maupun non-fisik untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan karena lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kepuasan kerja karyawan.----------Problem examined in this study is the low job satisfaction of employees Food and Beverage Product Department The Papandayan Hotel Bandung marked by the high rate . This study aims to describe the work environment, job satisfaction, and the influence extent of work environment on job satisfaction of employees Food and Beverage Product Department The Papandayan Hotel Bandung. Aspects studied include two things: work environment and job satisfaction. This study uses description and explanation with a population of 50 respondents. The analysis technique used is the Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Simple Regression Analysis. The result shows that work environment and job satisfaction of employees Food and Beverage Product Department The Papandayan Hotel Bandung is in the middle category. Calculation result of correlation of 0,631 means that there is a quite high relationship between work environment and job satisfaction . Simple regression analysis of the calculation result obtains equation Y = 10,267 + 0,623X and KD = 39,87 means that the influence of work environment on job satisfaction is 39,87% while the remaining 60,13 % is influenced factor unexamined. Advice should be given is more attention to the company’s work environment to increase job satisfaction due to work environment have an impact on increasing job satisfaction.
