Abstract

Pendidikan dan pelatihan merupakan upaya yang dilakukan oleh suatu lembaga untuk mengembangkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, hal ini dapat timbul jika pembelajaran yang dilakukan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah pembelajaran yang sering digunakan masih bersifat konvensional, serta potensi berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta yang kurang terperhatikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta diklat (studi deskriptif korelasional terhadap Pekerja Sosial di BPPKS, Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Barat). Adapun secara khusus, penelitian ini dibatasi pada sub masalah yang diantaranya adalah (1) Bagaimana gambaran penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah di BPPKS? (2) Bagaimana gambaran kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta diklat pekerja sosial melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah di BPPKS? (3) Apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta diklat pekerja sosial? Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang dilakukan di BPPKS sudah sesuai dengan syntax dalam teori PBM dengan kategori kuat; (2) peserta diklat mampu berpikir kreatif dalam menghadapi masalah dengan kategori kuat; (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan kategori cukup kuat.----------Education and training is the effort to develop the quality of human resources, this could arise if the learning is done in accordance with the needs of the participants. The problem that arises because used is still conventional learning, as well as the potential for high-level participants thought less unnoticed. This research answers main research question: whether there is a relationship between implementation of problem based learning towards the ability to think creatively participant education and training? Specifically, the problem that observed are: (1) Describing the implementation of problem-based learning at BPPKS? (2) Describing ability to think creatively participant education and training at BPPKS? (3) Wether there is a positive and significant relationship between implementation of problem based learning towards the ability to think creatively participant education and training at BPPKS? The method used is descriptive correlation with a quantitative approach. Based on the results of research, in general it can be concluded that (1) the implementation of problem-based learning can help training participants to think creatively with strong category; (2) the training participants are able to think creatively in dealing with problems with the strong category; (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between implementation of problem based learning towards the ability to think creatively participant education and training with strong category.
