Abstract
Skripsi ini berjudul “Pertunjukan Musik Ronggeng Gunung grup Jembar Mustika di Desa Selasari Kecamatan Parigi Kabupaten Pangandaran” yang bertujuan untuk memaparkan dan mendeskripsikan masalah meliputi fungsi waditra dan komposisi musik yang terdapat pada kesenian ronggeng gunung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Secara operasional, data dikumpulkan dengan tekhnik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Semua data yang dikumpul diolah melalui teknik reduksi, display dan verivikasi data. Hasil temuan penelitian ini adalah peran sinden dan ronggeng sudah terpisah terkecuali apabila suatu permintaan acara yang menginginkan peran ganda. Terdapat tiga jenis waditra yaitu kendang, ketuk, dan goong. Kendang berfungsi untuk memberi ketentuan sinden memulai menyanyi, mengiringi ronggeng, memberikan tempo, irama, dinamika dan berperan sangat penting pada pertunjukan kesenian ronggeng gunung. Ketuk berfungsi mengisi pola irama tetap dalam kesenian ronggeng gunung. Goong dan kempul berfungsi sebagai pengatur wiletan (birama) atau sebagai tanda akhir periode melodi dan penutup kalimat lagu bisa disebut panganteb (pemuas lagu) dalam kesenian ronggeng gunung. Komposisi kesenian ronggeng gunung dikasifikasikan berdasarkan pola irama waditra, pola melodi lagu, dan rumpaka lagu yang dibawakan kemudian dituangkan kedalam bentuk partitur atau notasi. Semua temuan tersebut diharapkan mempunyai manfaat bagi semua pihak, sehingga dampak positif bagi khasanah budaya tadisional masyarakat indonesia.----------This thesis entitled “Ronggeng Gunung Music Performance by Jembar Mustika group in Selasari village, Parigi Sub-district, Pangandaran Regency” aims to explain and describe the problem include the function of waditra and musical composition contained in art of Ronggeng Gunung. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic through aqualitative approach. Operationally, the data collected by the techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. All data collected is processed through reductiontechniques, display and verification of data. The finding of this study is the role of sinden and ronggeng have been separated except when a request in the event wants a dual role.There are three types of waditra namely kendang (traditional Indonesian drum), ketuk (traditional metal musical instruments) and goong (gongs). Kendang has a function ingiving the provisions for sinden to start to sing, accompanying ronggeng, giving tempo, rhythm, dynamics and a very important role in ronggeng gunung performance. Ketuk has a function to fill the constant rhythm pattern in ronggeng gunung art. Goong and kempul has a function as a regulator of wiletan (bars) or as a sign of the end of the melody and final of song sentence could be called panganteb (satisfier of the song) in the ronggeng gunung. Art composition of ronggeng gunung is classified based on rhythm patterns of waditra, patterns of melodies and rumpaka (lyric) of songs sung then contained into the form of musical score or notation. All these findings are expected to have benefits for all parties, so that it has positive impact on traditional cultural treasures of Indonesian society.
