Abstract

Pembelajaran permainan bola voli menjadi kurang menarik dan kurang dinamis disebabkan penggunaan bola standar yang terbatas dan kurang ramah terhadap peserta didik, dampaknya jumlah waktu aktif belajar siswa menjadi rendah. Masalah utama penelitian ini adalah sampai sejauhmana penggunaan bola modifikasi dapat meningkatkan jumlah waktu aktif belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bola modifikasi terhadap jumlah waktu aktif belajar dalam pembelajaran permainan bola voli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimendengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, populasi siswa kelas delapan SMPNegeri 1 Bandung, sampel sebanyak 60siswa dibagi dalam dua kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Sampling Purposive.Hasil pengolahan data dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent Samples T Test diperoleh nilai thitung(39,882) > ttabel (2,002). Simpulannya penggunaan bola modifikasi dapat meningkatkan jumlah waktu aktif belajar pada pembelajaran permainan bola voli. ---------- Learning volleyball game becomes less interesting and less dynamic due to the use of standard ball that is limited and less friendly to learners, the impact is number of active time student learning becomes low. The main problem of this study is to what extent the use of ball modification can improve the number of students’ active learning time. The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of using ball modification towards number of active learning time in learning volleyball. This research used experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The populations in this study were eight grade of Junior High School 1 Bandung, sample of 60 students were divided into two experimental groups and the control group, sampling technique used Sampling Purposive.The data processing and hypothesis testing usedIndependent Samples T Test be obtained tcalculate(39,882) > ttable (2,002). The conclusion isthe use of ball modification can improve the number of active learning time in learning volleyball.
