Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konformitas teman sebaya dengan kemandirian perilaku peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Bandung. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif yang digunakan untuk mengungkap profil perilaku konformitas teman sebaya dan kemandirian perilaku peserta didik. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur berupa kuesioner. Kondisi objektif pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bandung mengenai konformitas teman sebaya dari jumlah sampel sebanyak 190 siswa, mayoritas siswa berada dalam kategori sedang. Kondisi objektif pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bandung mengenai kemandirian perilaku dari jumlah sampel sebanyak 190 siswa menunjukkan mayoritas siswa berada dalam kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan konformitas teman sebaya dengan kemandirian perilaku sebesar(r =-0,295) (rendah). Implikasi bagi layanan bimbingan dan konseling melalui rancangan program bimbingan pribadi-sosial untuk meningkatkan kemandirian perilaku siswa. Rekomendasi yang diberikan, yaitu kepada : (1) Guru bimbingan dan konseling dapat memfasilitasi siswa agar memiliki kemandirian perilaku yang tinggi di dalam lingkungan kelompok teman sebaya meskipun memiliki perilaku konformitas. (2) Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat membuat penelitian mengenai program pribadi-sosial dalam meningkatkan kemandirian perilaku didalam lingkungan teman sebaya meskipun memiliki perilaku konformitas dijenjang yang lain seperti Sekolah Dasar, Sekolah Menengah Atas, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Kata Kunci : Konformitas Teman Sebaya, Kemandirian Perilaku ---------- The study aims to determine the relationship peers conformity with the autonomy of the behavior of learners in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bandung. The approach taken is a quantitative approach that is used to uncover the behavioral profile of conformity peers and autonomy of the behavior of learners. The research method used is descriptive. Data collection is done by using a measuring instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The objective circumstances in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bandung regarding conformity peers of the total sample of 190 students, the majority of students are in the medium category. The objective circumstances in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bandung on the independence of the behavior of a total sample of 190 students showed the majority of students are in the medium category. The results showed that there is a relationship peer conformity with the independence of behavior (r = -0,295) (low). Implications for guidance and counseling services through the design of personal-social counseling program to increase the independence of student behavior. Recommendations given, namely to: (1) Teacher guidance and counseling can facilitate the students to have a high self-sufficiency behavior within the peer group despite having behavioral conformity. (2) The researchers then expected to make a research on the personal-social programs to improve the independence of the behavior in the environment of peers despite having another dijenjang conformity behavior such as Elementary School, High School, Vocational High School.
