Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul “Pembelajaran Biola Pada Anak Usia 4-6 Tahun di Elfa Music School Dago”. Fokus permasalahan yang dikaji adalah materi yang diajarkan, proses pembelajaran yang terjadi dan pencapaian target dari pembelajaran biola di Elfa Music School Dago. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode ini digunakan untuk menggambarkan, serta menganalisis fenomena pembelajaran biola. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian diolah untuk dianalisis sehingga dapat memecahkan permasalahan yang ada pada pertanyaan penelitian. Berdasarkan temuan di lapangan, materi yang diberikan adalah lagu-lagu yang disukai oleh anak usia dini, proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode yang menarik berupa simbol dan penamaan pada setiap senar dengan menggunakan nama-nama binatang. Pertimbangan diberikannya metode pembelajaran tersebut adalah untuk memudahkan proses pembelajaran karena keterbatasan kemampuan anak usia dini mengenai pengetahuan musik sehingga semua target pembelajaran dapat tercapai karena melalui proses pembelajaran yang efektif. ---------- This research entitled “Violin Learning for Children Age 4-6 year-old at Elfa Music School Dago.” This research focuses on the material that is being taught to the children, process of learning violin, and the target of learning violin at Elfa Music School Dago. The method that is used in this research was descriptive method with qualitative approach. This method is used to describe and analyze phenomenon of learning violin. There are several steps which are used in this research, which are observation, interview, study of literature, and documentation. The data of this research were analyzed to solve the problem in the research questions. According to the finding, the material that is being taught to the children were songs which children in early age like, the process of learning violin used an interesting method like giving symbols and name of animals to every string. The reason of using these symbols and name of animals as the method was to help children to understand the process of learning violin because the understanding of children in early age about music is limited, so all targets of learning violin can be reached through the effective process of learning.
