Abstract
Proses pembelajaran yang kurang efektif pada kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dikelas V SD Labschool UPI Bandung telah berdampak pada kemampuan menulis puisi dan kemampuan kosa kata. Siswa masih kurang untuk menulis puisi yang berakibat pada kemampuan kosa kata. Kemampuan menulis puisi dan kemampuan kosa kata siswa masih belum optimal, kemampuan mengungkapkan ide pendapat masih kurang, kemampuan menulis puisi dan kemampuan kosa kata belum tepat dan belum dapat menyampaikan ide yang dimiliki kepada orang lain. Hal ini sangat perlu untuk diperhatikan guru. TGT merupakan sebuah metode yang menuntun siswa untuk dapat bekerja sama dalam sebuah kelompok, memiliki tanggung jawab, mampu menyampaikan pendapat kepada orang lain. Dengan metode ini siswa dapat mengembangkan kognitif terutama kemampuan menulis puisi dan kemampuan kosa kata. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat kemampuan menulis puisi dan kemampuan kosa kata yang dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa, penelitian kuasi eksperimen pada siswa kelas v sekolah dasar Labschool UPI Bandung dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang, yang dilakukan dalam tiga pertemuan. Dari masing-masing kelas dilakukan prates dan pascates diperoleh data berupa tingkat adanya perubahan kemampuan menulis puisi dan kemampuan kosa kata dengan metode TGT. Pada kelas eksperimen kemampuan menulis puisi prates dengan rata-rata 66,6 meningkat pada pascates menjadi 78 dan pada kelas eksperimen kemampuan kosa kata prates dengan rata-rata 65,5 meningkat pada pasca tes menjadi 83. Berdasarkan penjelasan ini berarti dapat dikatakan terdapat peningkatan terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi dan kosakata. Kesimpulan yang didapat bahwa dengan menggunakan metode TGT dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi dan kemampuan kosa kata siswa dikelas V Sekolah Dasar Labschool UPI Bandung ---------- The learning process is less effective in Indonesian learning activities in class V SD Labschool UPI Bandung has an impact on the ability to write poetry and vocabulary abilities. The ability to write poetry and vocabulary abilities of students are still not optimal, the ability to express the idea of the opinion is still lacking, the ability to write poetry and capabilities have not been precise vocabulary and yet can convey ideas to others possessed. It is very necessary to be considered a teacher. TGT is a method that leads students to be able to work together in a group, have a responsibility, capable of expression to others. With this method students can develop cognitive abilities, especially the ability to write poetry and vocabulary. The study aims to determine the extent of the ability to write poetry and ability vocabulary seen from the results of student learning, quasi-experimental research on elementary school students of class V Labschool UPI Bandung with the number of students 33 experimental class and control class the number of students 33 people, who conducted in three meetings. Of each class conducted pre-test and post-test data obtained in the form of changes in the level of their capabilities and the ability to write poetry vocabulary with TGT method. The experimental class with the ability to write poetry prates average increase in post-test 66.6 to 78 and In the experiment class ability vocabulary pretest with an average 65.5 increase in post-test be 83. Based on this description means it can be said there is increasing , The conclusion that using TGT method can improve the ability to write poetry and vocabulary in class V Elementary School Labschool UPI Bandung.
