Abstract
Penelitianiniberjudul “Pelatihankakawenbagidalangcilik di PadepokanWayangGolekGiriharja 2 JelekongKabupaten Bandung” membahasmengenaitahapandanhasildaripelatihantersebut.Salah satufaktorpendukungkeberhasilanpelatihanadalahkesungguhanpesertadidikuntukberlatih.Pesertapelatihankakawenbagidalangcilikiniterlihatmemilikikesungguhandanprestasi yang relatifbaik.Sehinggapenelititertarikuntukmengungkaptahapan yang dilakukanpelatihdalammenentukanpendekatan, materi, metode, danhasil yang dicapaiolehpesertadidik.Kajian dilakukan berlandaskan pada teori tentang pelatihan, strategi pelatihan yang terdiri dari tahapan pendekatan, materi, dan metode pelatihan serta sistem evaluasi dalam pelatihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif sehingga peneliti mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian menggunakan data yang telah didapat, untuk mengungkap itu semua, peneliti menggunakan teknik penelitian dalam bentuk wawancara dan observasi langsung. Dari penelitian, diperoleh temuan bahwa keberhasilan dalam sebuah proses pelatihan dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang dan pengalaman guru sebagai dalang senior dan professional, sehingga pelatih mampu menjadi model yang baik saat melakukan demonstrasi. Selain itu ditemukan kelemahan, bahwa orientasi pelatih dalam memberikan materi masih berdasarkan pengetahuan yang di wariskan oleh leluhurnya, sehingga belum terlihat adanya inovasi dari tahapan pelatihan sebelumnya. Metode yang digunakan sudah cukup bervariasi, yakni metode ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan drill. Kata kunci : Pelatihan, kakawen, dalang cilik This study entitled “Training kakawén for young puppeteer in PadepokanWayangGolekGiriharja 2 Jelekong, Bandung Regency” discusses the steps and the results of the training. One of the factors supporting the success of the training is seriousness of learners to practice. Trainee kakawén for young puppeteer seems to have seriousness and relatively good performance. Therefore, the researcher is interested in uncovering the steps being taken coaches in determining the approach, materials, methods, and results achieved by learners. The study was conducted based on the theory of training, training strategy which consists of: the stages of the approach, materials, and methods of training and evaluation in the training system. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods so that researchers describe the results of research using data have been obtained. To uncover it all, the researcher used a technique of research in the form of interviews and direct observation. From this research, it is found that success in a training process is influenced by the background and experience of the teacher as a senior and professional puppeteer, so the coach is able to be a good model when performing demonstrations. In addition, researchers found a weakness, that the orientation of the coaches in providing the material is based on the knowledge inherited by his ancestors, so it has not seen the innovation of previous training phases. The method used is quite varied, i.e. lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and drill. Keywords : Training, kakawén, young puppeter
