Abstract
Abstrak — Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui relevansi antara soft skills yang dihasilkan dari pembelajaran dikampus dan Program Latihan Profesi (PLP) pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan dengan soft skills yang dibutuhkan oleh guru SMK. Aspek – aspek soft skills yang diteliti diantaranya kemampuan berkomunikasi, keteladanan, disiplin, manajemen waktu, tanggung jawab, kemampuan bekerjasama, kejujuran, kemandirian, kedewasaan, inovatif, kemampuan memecahkan masalah, sopan/santun/beretika, dan kepedulian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 39 orang mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan FPTK UPI angkatan 2011 sebagai responden yang telah mengikuti pembelajaran di kampus dan melaksanakan PLP untuk mengetahui soft skills yang terbentuk dan 15 orang responden mencakup dosen prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan guru SMK sebagai responden untuk mengetahui aspek soft skills yang dibutuhkan oleh guru kejuruan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner (angket) yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan persentase data untuk mengetahui relevansi antara softskill yang terbentuk dari pembelajaran di kampus dan pelksanaan PLP dengan softskill yang dibutuhkan oleh guru kejuruan hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa soft skills yang terbentuk pada mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran di kampus dan pelaksanaan PLP meliputi kemampuan bekerjasama (84,08%), kemampuan berkomunikasi (82,18%), keteladanan (81,25%), kejujuran (80,13%), dan pelaksanaan PLP Prodi PTB meliputi: kemampuan bekerjasama (85,26%), kemampuan berkomunikasi (84,94%), keteladanan (84,78%), kejujuran (84,29%), manajemen waktu (83,65%), kemandirian (83,01%), kedewasaan (82,37%), inovatif (80,77%), sopan/ santun/beretika (80,45%), kepeduluan (80,29%). Hasil penelitian terhadap guru kejuruan menemukan bahwa atribut soft skills yang dibutuhkan/diutamakan oleh guru kejuruan yaitu; (1) kemampuan berkomunikasi, (2) keteladanan, (3) disiplin, (4) manajemen waktu, (5) tangung jawab, (6) kemampuan bekerjasama, (7) kejujuran, (8) kemandirian, (9) kedewasaan, (10) inovatif, (11) kemampuan memecahkan masalah, (12) sopan santun, dan (13) kepedulian. Relevansi soft skills yang terbentuk dari pembelajaran di kampus dan pelaksanaan PLP dengan soft skills yang dibutuhkan oleh guru kejuruan berada pada persentase 46,15% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat relevan, serta persentase 15,38% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat relevan. Keywords—Soft Skills, Pembelajaran di Kampus, Pelaksanaan Program Latihan Profesi Abstract - This study aims to determine the relevance of soft skills resulting from learning campus and Professional Training Program (PLP) on a student of Technical Education Building with soft skills needed by vocational school teachers. Aspects - the soft skills aspects examined include communication skills, exemplary, discipline, time management, responsibility, ability to cooperate, honesty, self-reliance, maturity, innovative, problem-solving skills, courteous / polite / ethical, and caring. This research uses descriptive method with a sample are 39 students of Technical Education Building Prodi FPTK UPI class of 2011 as respondents who have followed the on-campus learning and implementing the PLP to know soft skill formed and 15 respondents include lecturers from the Department of Education Building Engineering, principals, vice-principals, and teachers of SMK as respondents to identify aspects soft skill needed by vocational teachers. The techniques used were questionnaires were analyzed using the percentage of data to determine the relevance of soft skills that form of teaching on campus and implementation of PLP with soft skills required by teachers of vocational. The research show that soft skill formed on students through learning on campus and the implementation of the PLP includes the ability to cooperate (84.08%), the abbility to communicate (82.18%), modeling (81.25%), honesty (80.13%), and the implementation of the PLP Prodi PTB include: the ability to cooperate (85, 26%), the abbility to communicate (84.94%), modeling (84.78%), honesty (84.29%), time manegement (83.65%), independent (83.01%), maturity (82.7%), innovative (80.77%), police/ethical (80.45%), concert the ability to solve (80.29%). The study of vocational teachers find that the attributes of soft skills required / preferred by vocational teachers are (1) the ability to communicate, (2) model, (3) discipline, (4) management of time, (5) responsibility, (6 ) ability to cooperate, (7) honesty, (8) independence, (9) maturity, (10) an innovative, (11) the ability to solve problems, (12) manners, and (13) of concern. The relevance of soft skills that form of teaching on campus and the implementation of the PLP with the soft skills needed by vocational teachers are on the percentage of 46,17% as category of very relevant, as well as the percentage of 15,38% as category of very relevant.
