Abstract

Penelitianinidilatarbelakangiolehhasilpengamatandankajianlangsung di kelas V SDN 3 CibodasKecamatanLembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, yang mana di dalam proses pembelajaran IPA guru hanyamenggunakanmetodepembelajarankonvensional yang tidaksesuaidengankarakteristikpembelajaran IPA, sehingga proses pembelajaranhanyabersifatsatuarah (teacher centered)yang mengakibatkankurangnyapengembangan/peningkatanketerampilan proses sains (KPS)siswapadamatapelajaran IPA, khususnya KPS mengamati, menanya, mencoba, mengasossiasi, danmengkomunikasiataudiakronimkandengan 5M.Olehsebabituuntukmengatasimasalahdiatas, diperlukanupaya/tindakankhusus, yaitusalahsatunyadenganmenerapkan model Quantum Learningyangmenggunakanteknikrancangan TANDUR, yang merupakanakronimdari (tumbuhkan, alami, namai, demonstrasi, ulangi,rayakan). Berdasarkanpermasalahantersebut,makapenulismelakukanpenelitian yangbertujuanuntukmengetahuibagaimanapelaksanaan,danperkembangan/peningkatanketerampilan poses sains 5Msiswadenganmenerapkan model Quantum Learning.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart, dengan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VB SDN 3 yang berjumlah 29 orang, sedangkan yang menjadi fokus penelitian 3 orang siswa, akan tetapi di dalam proses pembelajaran tidak mengabaikan siswa yang lain. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen observasi keterlaksanaan model Quantum Learning, Instrumen observasi KPS, kuesioner, catatan lapangan, dan tes (LKS). Data dianalisis dengan deskripsi kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Quantum Learning dengan teknik TANDUR dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa, hal tersebut terbukti pada hasil perkembangan KPS siswa pada pembelajaran siklus I dan II. Di mana pada siklus I, dari 12 indikator 5M yang diukur, 6 indikator sudah dapat dilakukan siswa dengan baik seperti M1 indikator 1, M3 indikator 3, M4 indikator 1,3,4, M5 indikator 1. Sedangkan 6 indikator belum bisa dilakukan dengan baik, seperti KPS M2 indikator 1,2,3, M3 indikator 1, M4 indikator 2, M5 indikator 2. Sedangkan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan,yaitu dari 12 indikator 5M yang diuukur, 10 indikator sudah dapat dilakukan siswa dengan baik, seperti KPS M1 indikator 1, M2 indikator 1 dan 2, M3 indikator 2, M4 indikator 1 sampai dengan 4, M5 indikator 1 dan 2. Dan hanya 2 indikator yang belum bisa dilakukan dengan baik yaitu diantaranya KPS M2 indikator 3 dan M3 indikator 1. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapanmodel Quantum Learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains 5M siswa kelas VB SD Negeri 3 Cibodas Kecamatan Lembang. Kata kunci :Keterampilan Proses Sains 5M, Model Quantum Learning This research is motivated by the observation and study directly in class V SDN 3 Cibodas District Lembang, West Bandung regency, which is in the process of learning science teacher uses only conventional teaching methods that do not conform to the characteristics of learning science, so that the learning process is merely one direction (teacher centered), which resulted in the lack of development / improvement of students science process skills (SPS) in science subjects, especially SPS observe, ask, try, mengasossiasi, and communicate, or an acronym 5M (mengamati, menanya, mencoba, mengasossiasi,mengkomunikasi). Therefore, to overcome the above problems, the necessary effort / special action, that one of them by applying the model of Quantum Learning that use design techniques TANDUR, which is an acronym of (grow, natural, name, demonstration, repeat, celebrate). Based on these problems, the authors conducted a study that aims to determine how the implementation and the development / enhancement of studentsscience process skillsby applying the model of Quantum Learning. The method used in this research is classroom action research (CAR) which adapts the model Kemmis& Mc. Taggart, with two cycles. The subjects were students of class VB SDN 3 totaling 29 people, while the study focused on three students, but in the learning process does not ignore the other students. Data was collected using observation instruments keterlaksanaan model of Quantum Learning, Instruments KPS observations, questionnaires, field notes, and test. Data were analyzed with a qualitative description. The results showed that the model of Quantum Learning with TANDUR technique can enhance students' science process skills, it is evident in the results of the development commissioner students in learning cycle I and II. Where in the first cycle, of 12 indicators measured 5M, 6 indicators already students can do well as one indicator M1, M3 indicator 3, 1,3,4 indicator M4, M5 indicator 1. The six indicators can not be done well , such as 1,2,3 indicators KPS M2, M3 indicator 1, 2 indicator M4, M5 indicator 2. While on the second cycle increased, namely from 12 indicators 5M diuukur, 10 indicators can be performed with good students, such as KPS M1 1 indicator, M2 indicator 1 and 2, 2 indicator M3, M4 indicator of 1 to 4, the M5 indicator 1 and 2. And only two indicators that can not be done well some of them KPS M2 and M3 indicator indicator 3 1. Based on these data it can be concluded that the application of the model of Quantum Learning can enhance science process skills 5M VB grade students of SD Negeri 3 Cibodas District Lembang.
