Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul pembelajaran instrumen petik III (kacapi) melalui metode tutor sebaya di pendidikan musik FPSD UPI. Materi instrumen petik III adalah lagu kembang balebat karya Mang Koko. Lagu tersebut merupakan salah satu genre kawih wanda anyar yang memiliki ciri khas intro dan pola iringan lagu tersendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian tentang kondisi objektif, proses dan hasil pembelajaran melalui tutor sebaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dibantu dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur, seluruhnya diolah melalui reduksi, display, analisis dan verifikasi data. Hasil di lapangan membuktikan metode tutor sebaya membantu dalam kegiatan perkuliahan instrumen petik III (kacapi). Berdasarkan hasil capaian kompetensi baik secara teori maupun praktik, metode tutor sebaya mampu mempermudah mahasiswa dalam kegiatan perkuliahan. Kata kunci: tutor sebaya, kacapi, kembang balebat. This research study entitled stringed instrument III (kacapi) through peer tutoring methods in music education FPSD UPI. Stringed instruments material III is indeed kembang balebat song was made by Mang Koko. The song is one of the genre kawih wanda anyar which has a typical intro and song accompaniment pattern of its own. This study aims to answer research questions about the objective conditions, processes and outcomes of learning through peer tutoring. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach, aided by observation, interviews, documentation and study of literature, entirely processed through reduction, display, analysis and verification of data. Results in the field of peer tutoring methods prove helpful in learning activities stringed instrument III (kacapi). Based on the results of the competency achievements both in theory and practice, peer tutoring method is able to facilitate students in learning activities.
